"We enjoyed being so close to the beach and to restaurants. Property is well maintained and rooms are clean and well kept. Staff are very polite. We like that the property supplied beach towels as well. We found out from a server at the Tropical Mist that their hotel is "sisters" with Blue Haven and that we could have come over to use the pool etc.... We found that out at the end of our trip and would have been nice to know sooner."

"Overall my stay was good. The beach view is a plus. Only thing I would improve is the details how to access the apartment. I had to call the manager even though the email said I would receive the lockbox information. I kept checking my email till I decided to just call the number. On the last day the kitchen sink started making sounds as if it was backing up. Outside of that my short stay was cool. "

"This property is exactly as shown and described. We spent 3 weeks here and it was very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The terrace is a great place and we spent most of time there when we weren’t out. "We cannot say enough about the communication, cleanliness inside and out of our lovely condo. The view was breathtaking. Always clean chairs and umbrellas to use and a sparkling pool. The location was so convenient. We would return again someday. Thank you to the cleaning staff, Cyrus and owner for making our stay so comfortable, just like home. The condo had everything anyone would need, thank you for providing comfy beds, lots of towels and a well equipped kitchen. "

"This was one of our best stays ever!! Communication with Richard was always very clear and prompt. Check in was very easy. We arrived a bit early than the set time, but Volney was already there waiting for us. The house is very well equipped. "I love everything about this place, from when I checked in, from the room, the people at the restaurant in the bar, the rooms itself, and all that. The biggest con that this place has, it’s that is too far from most of the things going on in Barbados, such as savvy on the bay, brownes Beach, Boatyard and everything else that goes on, on the west beach. HOWEVER, you’re only 24BBD away from Oistins Fish market so it’s definitely a blessing to be close and not a far drive to be away from. This hotel is more of a secluded location and more slowed down. Other than that, I will come back and rent out this hotel again in the future. "

"We stayed one night before a cruise embarking from this port the next day. The reception was very friendly and welcoming. We had messaged ahead thru Expedia to advise that flight delays would cause us not to arrive until almost midnight. At check-in it was a very nice surprise to learn that they had kindly prepared us each a plate of sandwiches, fruit, and muffin “to tide you over until breakfast.” Our room was immaculately clean even if the furniture and fixtures showed some age and wear. The location is right on the beach, with water views. At check-out, the government that we has to pay directly to the hotel was twice the amount Expedia had stated on our receipt. We would stay here again. "

"Sugar Bay was a beautiful spot. Beach was beautiful! It is part of a coral reef, so swim shoes a must. Different dinner options every night, a nice mix of local and international cuisine! Amazing staff, beautiful and so helpful and friendly! It is very close to Bridgetown, and local transportation very easy to take. Also not far from airport, 20 mins, which make Sugar Bay a perfect location. They accommodated our stay with a family room with three single beds, which suited us perfectly. Very clean and well organized overall! We throughly enjoyed our stay!"
