"We’ve been here 5 times, last 3 at Mammhofer. Close to everything we want to visit, easy go anywhere in town just walking. Excellent care and attention of the owner. It is like visit friends. I think that if we comeback to the same place and plan to return next time means more than many positive words We can write or say."

"I thought this was so much fun. As someone travelling solo to Oktoberfest, I was a bit nervous to be on my own, but within the hour of arriving I had an entire group to go to the halls. I had such a great time, big shout out to the staff who really look after you and get involved. "

"This hotel is listed in Expedia as "Alpenmotel Sauling". The hardest part was finding it. We followed Google Maps to the location but could not find "Alpenmotel" on any building or sign. We went up and down the streets. We finally found "Sauling" and found a self service set of boxes on the outside. We found our name and the keys. There was a building (house) number but no map. Our room was not in the building we found. So we walked up and down the street to find the house number and then...

"This is a well run apartment hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the main street but close enough to walk to. Breakfast was particularly good and the service was very attentive. The room was cleaned every day by a delightful lady who together with the owners was very welcoming. We were given recommendations for good restaurants in the area and overall our stay was an enjoyable experience. The Tegernsee is beautiful and is highly recommended as a tourist destination."

"Four of us stayed in two rooms and we all rate this hotel and location TEN. It is clean and nice. The owner was extremely helpful. Fun to watch the cows come home across the street each evening. We stayed here three nights and would re-book in the future. Great location and MANY things to do and see close by."

"The property was easy to find, and convenient parking was just in front of the establishment. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and had a balcony with a nice view overlooking a grassy, hillside pasture (our stay was the middle of September, so do not expect anything green during the ski season). "Thanks so much to the Front Desk and Housekeeping Staff at Wunderlocke. I enjoyed my stay a hundred percent. From the card to operate the lights to the washer and dryer in the apartment to the kitchenette and the comfy lower to the floor beds. A lovely Indian restaurant is within walking distance (like 2 minutes walking) The bus is right out front with a train/bus station less than 2 blocks away. The Yoga/Pilates classes offered is a plus. The neighborhood is safe and walkable to at least 6 grocery stores. Things were clean and the stay was very relaxing. I will certainly stay here again! Keep up the fantastic customer service and thanks for accommodating me during my stay."

"Great place! Having lived in Brazil for 3-4 years, I can confidently say that they've managed to capture the essence quite well. The staff are very friendly (oi, Raisa Fernanda) and quick to help. The area is quiet and the station is nearby for easy connectivity to Munich centre."

"The stay here was great. The property is nestled in the heart of history but is modern, great amenities and a team that is fabulous. I am someone who runs runs runs and tries to see all when I travel but this space asked me to slow down and enjoy it too, as I did. "

Loved everything about this place

"Truly loved everything about this place. Our room was huge and incredibly clean. The beds were comfy enough and we could adjust the temperature in our room to our liking. Breakfast was included and was decent. Overall the hotel was very quiet and there’s an underground garage to park. It’s close to the castles and good restaurants. Just a note, the garage is VERY narrow. Like insanely, narrow."
