"The property is gorgeous, and in a beautiful mountain setting. The owners are amazing people who are dedicated to making your stay amazing. Every inch of the room and bathroom was clean. The bed is unbelievably comfortable, with clean sheets and a thick comforter that was really nice to have in the snowy winter. Really no negative aspects to the property. We used the property as a layover point on our way to Snowshoe from central Virginia. It’s about 40 minutes from Snowshoe, and directly on the route. I would highly recommend the property to everyone. "

We decided to start a new Thanksgiving tradition and I believe teenagers and adults alike can't wait until next year to come back to your home! "My family and I had a great experience here. The host was very accommodating and understood when something did go wrong (on our end). The property did have a few issues but those are honestly due to it being a rental and not caused by host neglect. We would absolutely stay again."

"this place was out in the middle of nowhere but was amazing. It was so quiet you could hear your ears ringing. the sky was clear and beautiful we saw shooting stars, the milky way and just beautiful night sky. if your in to books this is a place to explore. the owner had to have thousands of books and they were all well organized. some of the books were published in the early 1900’s. the host was very friendly and I am assuming that he put a lot of love into building this home. The only drawbacks I had was that the beds were not very comfortable and the living room furniture is very worn. this place is really out by itself but was so peaceful and actually forced our family to communicate and spend quality time together. I would definitely recommend. "
