"Donna is a great host with a great cabin, perfect for a weekend getaway! The cabin was as advertised, and Donna even took the time to leave us a personal note upon arrival. The fridge even included a few beers from local breweries. She is also quickly available via text if questions arise. I highly recommend!"

"Dirt road/drive. Not a lot of room for navigation, but enough room to move around. The house was quaint and perfect. Check in was an envelope left on a table. Perfect! Serves a purpose for a one night stay. No refrigerator and limited outlets. Would stay again!"

"We absolutely loved our time at May Acres Cottage. It was the perfect location for us to explore the parkway, visit friends in Asheville and a quick trip away to a family wedding! The cottage was spotless and was equipped with everything We could have needed. Julie and Tim were wonderful hosts! "

"Had a last minute opportunity to visit my daughter and looked at VRBO since I've always had great luck with them. Got to the property and found out that my room was 1/4 price per night. I paid VRBO more than 4 times what the hotel price was per night. Property was just barely OK. Pool was closed. Breakfast made my daughter violently ill which put a damper on the weekend. Feel stupid and taken advantage of...and yes, I am part of that responsibility so that is why I am writing this review...buyer...

"Quaint place, very clean, everything was labeled and easy to find …the charging stations were a bonus as we forgot one of our phone chargers thx!! "

"We enjoyed every minute very quiet and the house is totally updated and beautiful. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Would eat at Juicy Lucy's every day which is only a couple of blocks away. Biltmore 4 min down the road."

"It is a spacious studio with an extremely comfortable king size bed. The shower is amazing and parking was safe and convenient. The neighborhood was lovely, safe and quiet. The only issue we had upon our arrival was a problem with gaining access to the unit via the keyless entry door lock. Luckily, the owner's arrived right on time to help us get in. They were very friendly and helpful as the issue was resolved. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again."

"The property is much better than in the photos. The appointments are very nice, right down to the framed photo in the bathroom. The most striking thing is how warm and comfortable it feels once you are inside. Convenient location for everything there is to see and do in Ashville. "1. There was plenty of space for four families, including kids of all ages. 2. The house felt safe and comfortable, even for the little ones. We especially appreciated the door to the ladder to the first floor. 3. It was very clean, and all the essentials like coffee and barbecue supplies were provided. 4. The host went above and beyond by making sure we had a full propane tank and even a spare one. 5. The scenery was beautiful, and the night sky was stunning! Thank you for an amazing stay!"
