"We had two separate doctors visits and elected to rent a house rather than motel. The stay was very relaxing, comfortable and convenient. It was about 1 hour drive, but worth it to have space to relax, craft, watch tv and a break from B'hams stress. The house had most everything we needed, very clean, quiet neighborhood, convenient to shopping we needed and spacious. We recommend it for anyone needing a get away for a few days. Definately enjoyed the snow flurries. "

"We stayed five nights to attend wedding festivities for my daughter in Ohatchee. The home was exceptionally comfortable and within a few steps of the lake. The view is enough to enjoy a stay without ever leaving the property. Owners are amazing and easily accessible to answer questions. Check in and check out was “easy-peazy” as a wise woman said. I would go back if only to recharge and refresh. A fully stocked kitchen was dreamy for a cook."

"Came in for a funeral which was in Heflin, so it was very convenient seeing friends and family from the area. The place was very clean. We were in need of nothing and they were very accommodating when asked if we could have a few people over in the evening."

"Very clean property, check in was a breeze, and you are so close to everything! And the fact it was the cutest place ever was just a bonus!"

"Very nice, unique place. Very clean. Bring some chairs if you want to sit out on the porch (the porch chairs in the property picture weren't there). We didn't sleep there our second night, the bed is very close to the ceiling, this isn't anything negative but my wife is claustrophobic and couldn't sleep the first night. Overall the property was awesome, check in and check out very easy."

"4 former football players were in for the Jaxville St. and WKU conference USA game. Easy entry to the house, close to the university and stadium, clean and efficient. Enjoyed our time other than the loss of the game. "

"This property was better than advertised, and the owner is very accommodating and attentive to her guests needs. It was very clean, and well stocked. It has a nice deck on the front, and also a large deck on the back with a gas fire table, surrounded by comfortable outdoor couch. This property has a lot of land and is right on the water with a beautiful dock that has a swing.
