I had a special needs child with me and he was treated well and had a great time exploring. He made a bit of a mess at breakfast and the kitchen staff took care of it without getting upset. "We have stayed at the Homewood Suites Southpointe many times. It's in a safe snd convenient location. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a lot of variety and is always good. We especially like the pool and hot tub. However the chairs and chaise lounges are all ripped and need to be replaced. The patio area is inviting with a firepit, sitting area, and basketball court. We have had several family gatherings in the spacious meeting room, as well. ts one of our favorite hotels and will stay there again."

"This is the best hotel in that area. The entire facility was so clean. The workout room, breakfast area, elevator, rooms and carpet in the hotel were constantly tended too. No funky smells or bugs anywhere. We didn’t enter the pool area so that I can’t comment on. Our family had a great experience. "

"Very old time looking hotel in the heart or a college town. Check in was smooth and the room was clean and spacious and completely different versus a normal hotel room we’ve all come accustomed too. Only issue was upon reviewing my bill after checkout there was a $50 incidentals charge on top of the room charge that was never explained. Once you check out and the room is good they reverse it but it take 3-5 business days to be refunded. "
