Our north commerce house is located in a beautiful atmosphere and landscape. Starting with the living room it’s really cozy and a great place to LIVE!! the office is a great place to read a book or get some work done or have time for yourself the dining room and kitchen is an amazing place to have fun with the family or your loved one and make a tasty meal and enjoy it in our dining room. For the four rooms upstairs we decided to go with different styles the first one is somewhat modern and a beautiful grey color, for the second one we liked a purple/pinkish color, For the third one we loved the shades of green and a beautiful painting on top of the bed , For the master bedroom we liked the wood color furniture and a little office corner. We hope you guys enjoy and love the hard work we put into it!!
All our beautiful guests are welcomed in every part and inch of the house !!

Needed a place for family to gather for UVA graduation weekend. The house was a 30 minute easy drive to campus grounds. Also very short drive to Staunton restaurants and great proximity to Afton mountain vineyards. Easy check in, WiFi, ample parking (grass). Enjoyed our stay.

The home was beautiful and well maintained and contained everything you need. Perfect!
We rented this Vrbo for extended family coming into town for a wedding. Comfortable accommodations in an older house. Space felt like it was recently renovated. Easy access to downtown, and surprisingly quiet even though its located next to a railroad yard. Would book again for family and friends when they come to Waynesboro.
We were very happy with the rental! It was very clean, check in was smooth, and it had what we needed. We did notice there was no hair dryer, but we were able to buy one at dollar general. We didn’t need it so we left it there.
Location was perfect for what we needed and the house was spacious and clean. It's a renovation of an older home so it has some quirks (for instance the 2nd bathroom is in the laundry room) but that's not a complaint! The house itself was close to the train tracks, and you could hear them occasionally but they weren't too loud. Check out procedures were as easy as I've ever experienced - literally just turn off the AC and lock up.
My only suggestion would be for the owner to throw together a stay binder outlining in a little more detail parking, check-in / check-out procedures, and maybe even local food activities (though some of that is shown on the listing itself). I had to message the owner to get some of that info - though when I did message them, I would note they were quick, helpful, and polite in their replies.
All in all we were very satisfied.
Great place for the family to celebrate Thanksgiving
The house is an older home but charming and well updated and maintained. Very clean and definitely enough towels for all of the guests. There are heating/ AC units in every room. It was still a little drafty sitting in front of the windows since the weather turned off really cold while we were there. The house is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. We celebrated Thanksgiving there. We had most everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving meal. However, there were only 4 coffee mugs and four bowls. Since the house sleeps 10, there should be enough coffee mugs for 10 people. Check in and check out very easy. The host responded very quickly to my inquiries during the stay. The only real complaint is the neighborhood is kind of run down. We did enjoy our stay very much.
We had some trouble the first night and couldn’t get the heat to turn on so it was really cold. I Notified the owner and he came over the next day which was great. But there are some quirks with the in room heaters so then we couldn’t turn them back down enough. And the windows don’t open so it was really hot the second night. But that’s mostly only going to be an issue when the weather is hot during the day and cold at night. It is a very old house but has been mostly well refurbished. It was very clean and the owner was very responsive. Location in town was great, but it’s right on the train tracks and a huge train goes through around 11:30 every night. Didn’t notice any overnight, although my white noise may have drowned it out. Room for 1-2 cars on street in front of house. Additional parking in the back yard, which was a little odd, but ok as long as there’s no rain or snow.
Don’t let first impressions fool you, this place is a gem hiding across from a rail yard. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, and the neighborhood looks a little shoddy. But, it’s walking distance from a fine downtown, and the railyard proved to be very quiet. The house itself was charming. All floors were recently redone with wood-look vinyl plank flooring throughout, except for the kitchen, which had slate tile. Kitchen was nice and modern, and quite large. The four bedrooms were well appointed, and the beds quite comfortable. There was also a sleeper sofa in a downstairs office, something which was not listed in the description. We liked the place so much, we recommended it to our mother who has family from overseas coming to visit soon. It would be ideal for them. Each room has a remote controlled heat and AC unit, all very modern and quiet. Bathrooms were adequate; full bath with tub and shower upstairs, and another full bath in the laundry room off the kitchen. Shower stall downstairs seemed small at first glance, but proved to be plenty roomy once you step inside. I highly recommend this property, and expect to stay again in the not too distant future.
