Beach still accessible at high tide, but best visited when tide is retreating. Nice cafe and fish and chips nearby. Public toilets near the car park. We did sea a common seal offshore and starfishes at low tide in the rock pools.

"The property was perfectly located for us with our 4 Cocker Spaniels.The property had everything that we need except an outside tap & hose but we had the wherewithal with trug and watering can to minimise sand entering the property.We were blessed with fantastic weather & only used the car once to find a swimming pool. The local supermarket was well stocked and a great fish & chip shop.. it is our second visit to Winterton on Sea & will definitely be back sometime."

"A couple of things that we felt should be mentioned for future guests. Parking is very tight, this should have been explained before we arrived late at night to find there was no way we would fit our vehicle in the small space offered, turning space is very limited too. The cottage is near a pub which seems like it is a locals pub who like to sing karaoke loudly Friday-Sunday, this could be heard when inside without any windows open. "Lovely cottage in a superb location. As the stairs to the main bedroom were pretty steep we opted to use the downstairs bedroom which had a lovely en suite bathroom. Cottage very comfortable and cosy - had everything we needed for a great holiday. We would love to go back again in the not too distant future."

"Stayed at Two Cottages with my family and friends were at One Cottages! Our Cottage was really distinctive and both tasteful and comfortable plus the location right next to the beach was a real bonus. We were only there for a 4 day/night break but it felt a lot longer and James the owner was there to welcome us and was on hand if there was anything we needed (thanks James). Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking!"

"Wow! Just about says it all. We wanted a home for a short stay to try and find the place we both met fifty four years ago. "We stayed in the bungalow for a week in February with our 2 children and my parents. We were surprised with how big the bungalow was. The owners left scones, cream and jam for us adults and sweets on the kids beds which they were very excited about. The Bungalow was clean and tidy. It had everything we could possibly need. The beach was literally 2 mins walk away. Walcott Beach is a large sandy beach, we would love to come back one summer to really appreciate it. Perfect location to explore...

"What a wonderful weekend spent in this beautiful lodge in the norfolk broads . The pictures do not do this place justice it is beautifully furnished and decorated and so comfortable. We came for two nights with my friends and parents and had lovely relaxing evenings sitting round fireplace playing board games.
