Great Place
The house was perfect for us. We were attending a family reunion and wanted a place to stay with our immediate family. The house was perfect, many bedrooms and 2 kitchens! You can walk to everything. Would definitley stay again when in town.

We had a great trip!
This listing is exactly as described and the property manager was extremely responsive and communicative for anything we needed! It was just us and our 3 month old son and it was nice to have the multiple bedrooms to spread out with our stuff and all the baby stuff. Great location too, we walked to the little town strip every night for dinner.

Great Location
We had a great quiet stay (lucked out with the weather...70's in late October). We were able to walk to Watkins Glen State Park and the restaurants/bars/breweries in downtown Watkins Glen. And under 30 minute drives to Ithaca and Corning. The house does have a funny layout as some access is though another bedroom (but we knew this from the listing when we booked). We only had four people so we had plenty of sleeping space. Cleanliness was great. We didn't need the cooling of the window A/C in each bedroom but it was nice to turn them on (fan only) to create some white noise while sleeping.

Nice place to stay in town
We enjoyed our stay while we raced at WG. The layout is definitely a bit odd, but the description is accurate. Two of the 4 upstairs bedrooms are walk-throughs in order to get to the kitchen area and bathroom upstairs. Just be ready for that. The house is centrally located so that you can walk just about any restaurant in town. Check in was a breeze. The hosts had great communication.

Bach weekend
It was perfect for a bachelorette. The stairs were very steep but the listing says that- just don’t underestimate this. There is only one bedroom that avoids the stairs which was very helpful since we had a pregnant guest. The kitchen has your basic stuff, but not enough to really cook at the house. While visibly clean, it could use a deep clean, especially washing the floors. A few of the windows leaked and potentially there’s a squirrel in the second-floor ceiling? The beds and couch were comfortable and the upper deck is really nice to sit on. Again, none of this would stop us from staying for a weekend again. They were minor, inconveniences, that the location and local amenities made up for. I probably would not stay with the family or for a full week, but it was perfect for a Bachelorette, girls or guys trip.

Courtney was a wonderful host and the house was perfect for our group. We had countless laughs and lots of new memories to cherish. The home was in a very convenient location and because it was on a way way road, not a ton of traffic. I can forsee the ladies and I booking again here :)

50th Birthday Celebration
We enjoyed our stay at the property. The layout is a little tight but this is disclosed upfront so we knew what to expect. Kitchen downstairs has a nice selection of dishes, pots and pans. Could use a few more towels if you have 10 people. Overall it was a pleasant trip.

Excellent location. We enjoyed our stay.
Great location. Stairs are steep, but we knew about that in advance. House pretty clean except on outdoor patio area that had trash on the floor and the downstairs floors needed mopping. I give it a 7 out of 10 rating.

Did the Job
The location was perfect for our trip. It's within a few minutes walking distance of the State Park and has easy access to many restaurants. Access to the property was easy without any issues. After reading the description of the layout, we knew it wasn't ideal for our family situation, but we made it work. There are plenty of rooms for sleeping, but 2 of the bedrooms have just enough space for the bed, and that's it. Also, having to go through the "hallway" bedroom to get to other bedrooms and the bathroom upstairs was a little inconvenient. The stairs were also very steep, which was dangerous for our little kids and even a little much for the adults.

Perfect For a Weekend Wine Trip!
Great location, close to several restaurants and perfect starting point for a day of wine tasting. Plenty of space for our group of 9 adults. The house was clean-ish but would benefit from a good, deep clean. Each mattress had plastic covers under the fitted sheets, and the plastic was very crinkly, which was noisy. Totally understand the reason for the covers, but maybe invest in some better quality.

The experience was pleasant. My only complaints are the stars are very steep inside. Also you have to walk through bedrooms to get to the bathroom and the beds need mattress covers. The property manager was very responsive and the place was very clean.

Birthday Weekend Getaway
Convenient location with more than enough room for our group of 8 adults. Although we didn’t spend much time at the house, the beds were comfortable in what appears to be recently remodeled accommodations. We would definitely rent again. The only downfall was that I didn’t realize there were so many steps as one of our guests has limited mobility. It wasn’t impossible for her to get into the house, but it could have been easier.

We had a fabulous time. The location is perfect for walking around Watkins Glen. So many nice restaurants, bars, and The Falls all less than a mile away. The steps are very steep, so keep that in mind. We would all stay here again!!

Good accommodations
Property manager was very helpful. The place is nice and is in a great location. There are a lot of steps to the house, so not very good for handicapped people. Rooms are tight and no bedside tables at least in the downstairs bedroom. The cable was difficult to operate, cable box kept losing signal. wasn't a big deal, we were not there to watch TV anyway. All in all was a good place to stay.

More than a bit uncomfortable
I asked if there was air conditioning in every room and was told there was air conditioning "through". I should have followed up for clarity. There are only a couple of air conditioners and based on the house layout the only way to get all of the rooms air conditioned is to leave the doors open. We found some window units in a closet but were not comfortable to install them ourselves. It was extremely hot that weekend and so everyone on the 2nd floor was uncomfortable (clearly not uncomfortable enough to put the window units in). The room with the bunkbeds, they were not secure and it was leaning so one guest had to sleep on a pull out. There was also a weird stain on the blanket provided in that room. The shower curtains were mildewy and not clean in both bathrooms. The hand soap in one of the bathrooms was filled with water. There were a lot of bugs, I believe a previous renter pointed that out. Some of the beds were uncomfortable, some were fine. All in all, as you can tell this house was clearly upgraded or slapped together quickly to serve as a vacation home. We found handles that weren't attached in the kitchen, and though we didn't use any of the kitchen supplies we wouldn't have based on the look of some of it. Obviously, it was also uncomfortable that the neighbors clearly don't want vacation homes in their neighborhood but no one bothered us. I believe the company needs to follow up with their cleaning staff to make sure there is more attention to detail and take a good look at the property to make sure everything is repaired. Another note: there is a second entrance for the 2nd floor, but no cleared pathway to access it.

Great location
The location of the property was wonderful, the downtown area was in short walking distance and it's very close to the state park. The kitchen was redone and updated. The property manager communicated in advance and was descriptive and helpful with their instructions. There were lots of bugs in the home and the outdoor furniture was unstable, one of the guests had the chair collapse while sitting on it. The neighbors also have a sign up indicating they are not supportive about vacation home rentals which felt a little unsettling but they didn't bother us.

Wine and Cheese Weekend
There was 11 people that stayed in this house for the wine and cheese weekend and there was plenty of space for all of us. The house was one of the cleanest houses I've ever rented. The beds were comfortable, and it was great that there were 4 queen size beds! The house was stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen supplies, and linen! The house is within walking distance of many little shops and places to eat! The only caution I give is if you have someone elderly, very small children, or those that have difficulty with stairs, heed their warning. The stairs to get into the house aren't bad, however the stairs within the house are STEEP. There is one bedroom on the first floor with a queen bed but the rest are all upstairs. But this house was fantastic and I would definitely rent again!
