"We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. Beds also comfy and the double bunks were helpful for our group. Plow came quickly after snowstorm. We didn’t get out on the lake due to cold but nice to have it close by. "

"It was a delight, with beautiful Great Pond and inlet close by. The house itself is rustic, spacious and comfortable. Its L.L. Bean history added to the charm. The space heaters were welcome. The location, on a spit of land near the end of a long dirt road, but convenient to the Belgrade Lakes town center, was most enjoyable. We'd definitely recommend it."

"If you are considering this cabin, do not hesitate to book it. It is absolutely beautiful, perfect spot on the lake and still close to many local venues. We enjoyed a beautiful fall weekend and cannot wait to go back. Denise was the most gracious host and made us feel at home. We were able to fish off the dock which is just steps from the front porch. Beautiful sunsets and listening for the loons was a favorite. Wish we could give more than 5 stars! "

I hurt my back just as we were leaving to drive the 3 hours from home to the cabin. When we arrived I was still hurting. John gave me a heating pad and ice pack to use, which was very nice and super helpful. "
