"The houseboat is really cozy and the location is near all of the different places we wanted to visit in the area (Jefferson and Caddo Lake State Park). One of my favorite things was looking at the stars from the roof of the houseboat. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. The flea market up the road was charming and fun, and the outpost nearby was very convenient for small groceries/sundries. "

Looking Right from Back Deck 15 feet above the water, maybe close to 20.

"Overall, I really enjoyed this property and will be back. I was a little disappointed in two things. First, it wasnt super clean. It was clean enough, not to throw a fit over, but the fans, air intakes, and ceiling had weeks of gathered dust. For me thats not an issue. However, I brought my epically over-clean mother and she notices every little thing. Second, the stairs to the river landing were torn up and it was unaccessible. We were given alternative fighing methods though, and that was...
