"Enjoyed a quick weekend getaway on the lake in Newcastle. It was a great place to rest and watch the changing season with beautiful islands and fishing all close to town for oysters, a river cruise, and a nearby brewery. Appreciate that you are dog-friendly as well!"

"Cabin was just as it was described. Everything we needed. Stairs down to the water could use some maintenance. The dock and water were fantastic. My kids loves going out to the island. Overall great property. Would definitely come back."

"Peaceful and relaxing. A few things would have been nice to know ahead of our trip. Difficult to get to the water to swim. Did not know when trash pick up was scheduled and had to remind owner that it was not picked up. All that being said - it was very enjoyable"

"The GOOD: Checking in was a breeze, the location for what we needed was excellent and the living spaces where comfortable and cozy. The BAD: The outside of property was not well kept and the seating outside was not what was portrayed in the pictures. Deck was a bit sketchy and table and chairs where dirty as was the window sills on the inside of cabin. The UGLY: The basement was wet and musty and smelly (like cat piss). Would not allow anyone to go down because when you open the basement door...

"Very clean with well equipped kitchen and a nice deck but very tight quarters for a group of 5, ac in living room but no fans in the tiny bedrooms, no ventilation in bathroom or kitchen, nowhere to dry wet swimsuits or beach towels. Layout assumes that people will be sharing beds. Read the fine print about pets."

"I would highly recommend this cabin to everyone. It was so clean and had all the amenities that you needed and more. They have thought of everything. Enjoyed the canoe and tubes to float on the lake. And the fires in at night. . It was truly paradise. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay."

"Super cleanly. Great size two bedrooms. Lovely outdoor space. Amazing amenities in the bathrooms and kitchen. Really a perfect place to stay in Maine. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning some time in the future."
