"John and Barbara are the best hosts. I use their property every fall for when I am closing my camp. They are the best hosts ever. They give you the best greeting when you arrive and are willing to help if needed. The cabin is so sweet. I absolutely love how cozy it is. The little kitchen is perfect for cooking at the cabin. And there is enough little counter space to do a small puzzle! I am so grateful they take care of me in my camp closing."

"Very quiet & great upkeep "

"We are four adult sisters, 60+. The cabin was comfortable, had everything we needed for a good stay. It’s located right on the water and so convenient to all the sightseeing we wanted to do. I would highly recommend as our stay far exceeded our expectations. "

Hammock swings are easily hung on the porch for a relaxing afternoon.

"Roxie was a cozy tiny cabin! It was absolutely perfect for the one night passing through with the dog. My only regret was not having more time to make it a longer stay. The cabin has everything you need for a stay! The wood stove did a great job heating it, and it stayed pretty warm all night. GPS took me right there, no issue finding the road. And while no WiFi, cell service was fine and could stream playoff baseball before bed. Would 10/10 stay again and for longer if back in the area! "

"Peaceful and relaxing. A few things would have been nice to know ahead of our trip. Difficult to get to the water to swim. Did not know when trash pick up was scheduled and had to remind owner that it was not picked up. All that being said - it was very enjoyable"

"My wife and I have become attached to this little cabin, after returning several years in a row. Following a brief interruption we were happy to see that the new owners had changed very little. It's snug but has all that is necessary for us, and it's in the right place. "

"Place was wonderful! The pictures didn’t do it justice. There were very clear instructions regarding everything at the cabin. Hosts were great! We would definitely stay here again. "

"It was disappointing to not be given the code to get into the property before arriving. This meant that upon arrival, we had to call VRBO customer service to try and get in. They were helpful but unable to get in touch with the owner. Fortunately the owner finally replied to a text giving us the code so we were able to get inside but disappointing to have to wait outside while making phone calls trying to get in. The view was wonderful but we would have enjoyed it more if there was a screen door...

"Great location- 2 clean cabins and great view of the pond! Off the beaten path. Busier road then expected so walking between the cabins with smaller children would have to be supervised - limited grocery storage for the five of us - later check in the most and earlier check - out! Fans kept us cool - beds comfortable ! Overall a few flaws but one of our favorite picks to date!"

"The GOOD: Checking in was a breeze, the location for what we needed was excellent and the living spaces where comfortable and cozy. The BAD: The outside of property was not well kept and the seating outside was not what was portrayed in the pictures. Deck was a bit sketchy and table and chairs where dirty as was the window sills on the inside of cabin. The UGLY: The basement was wet and musty and smelly (like cat piss). Would not allow anyone to go down because when you open the basement door...

"Very clean with well equipped kitchen and a nice deck but very tight quarters for a group of 5, ac in living room but no fans in the tiny bedrooms, no ventilation in bathroom or kitchen, nowhere to dry wet swimsuits or beach towels. Layout assumes that people will be sharing beds. Read the fine print about pets."

"I would highly recommend this cabin to everyone. It was so clean and had all the amenities that you needed and more. They have thought of everything. Enjoyed the canoe and tubes to float on the lake. And the fires in at night. . It was truly paradise. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay."

"I had an excellent visit. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and small appliances. Everything was super clean; magazines and books were available (as well as good WiFi). I never turned the tv on as the view was spectacular. I wasn’t able to have an outdoor fire due to weather but everything was great. I hope to return. I look forward to doing more exploring as the area is beautiful. Also, very responsive with owners live next door. Thanks for offering up this quant little cabin for...
