The apartment is on the second floor, accessed by a long flight of stairs. This is not a problem for our party, but it is important to know if you have mobility issues."

"I had a very nice week visiting family. The basement apt. was very clean and comfortable. The only difficulty was on street parking in a crowded neighborhood however, I never had to park more than a block away from the property. "This studio style apartment was perfect for our stay in luray. centered in the middle of the town it was an easy walk to shops, food, and the greenway which we thoroughly enjoyed! Some minor items that could be considered: no shampoo or other like items for shower, not enough coffee pods and no ability to use ground coffee, coffee filter was dirty, and ac unit rattled when it was in use. Otherwise, we enjoyed the place and the owner/manager was very attentive in her replies. "

"This was a quiet, scenic and well appointed property. Our host was even kind enough to offer assistance when my car needed a jump. Something she found was happening from the neighbor. Great sense of community, great hospitality. The cows on the adjacent property behind the creek would walk down and graze and drink from the creek. It was magic. Thank you again. "

"Very basic amenities. No shampoo or soap. No extra towels or trash bags. If your house accomodates 6 people, the kitchen should have enough to cook for 6 (only small pans, no casserole dishes, etc). Some things were dirty and filter needed replacing in the water system in fridge, and the hand soap in the downstairs bath was filled with water. Other soap containers refilled with different soap, so hard to tell ingredients for allergies. I will say the house is close to a lot of things in Luray...

Kudos to the owner for finding a way to generate income, probably more than if it was rented out on a long term residential basis. "We experienced the beauty of a mountain snowstorm and it was awesome! We enjoyed the gorgeous view sitting by the fireplace and feeling super cozy. Nina the owner was so thoughtful, checking on us, suggesting a good place for our car during the storm so that we wouldn’t get stuck when it came time to go home, even cleaning our car off for us! That was above and beyond—thank you, Nina. The cabin is as pictured and well appointed. We plan to return here. "
