"this room worked pretty well for me. the building is a huge building, and appears to be an old (1950s?) boarding house - if you have any interest in architecture you will like its characteristics. the room did not have its own en-suite, but the shared toilets and showers were ok. every other room started at double the cost! the manager was Ron, and he was helpful."

"The Carrington is walking distance from the train and close to everything in Kootomba. The hotel is historic, which means old and needs a bit of a facelift. Some of the staff was outstanding like Shelia, others were just ok. We enjoyed the adjoining restaurant with great food and live music. We even had walked around Scienic World. Overall a good stay 3 Star property that’s very well located. "

"From tree tops climbing to ice skating, movie theatre to the gorgeous gardens, everything a family wants is at the property. In the middle of the blue mountains we had a fun and relaxing stay. It is a little outdated compared to a city hotel but this resort is perfect for a rural town. We throughly enjoyed our stay. "
