We picked it for the wineries and breweries noted in description (walking distance/close by). They were not open (only on weekends and we were there M-Th). We had to drive 30min to get food/anything. "This property was clean and well stocked. It's only a few blocks to downtown Hermann so well within walking distance. We didn't cook while staying but there were plenty of dishes, pots, pans and utensils. Parking is on the street but it's not a busy street and we felt our car was safe. I would definitely recommend the Brick Bungalow!"

"I rented this house for a family get together to celebrate Thanksgiving and to celebrate how thankful we are for our grandson who lives in St Louis. The house was PERFECT! We had ample space for visiting, preparing and eating meal(s) and resting. The bathroom facilities and the laundry facilities were also perfect. "We were here to celebrate Christmas with the whole family for the first time in many years. Christmas decorations at the house were such a surprise and so welcoming. St Charles is a great place to see at Christmas time. Though we were not at the house much during the day we loved the shower and there were plenty of beds for our group. If the weather was nicer we would have loved the backyard patio. Many thanks to the host for providing this property."
