"This house had all we needed for a two night senior citizens stay at budget price point. The fenced yard and provisions for pet clean up were excellent. Inside was dated, but clean, functional and family friendly. We were unable to control the many strings of LED lights or TV’s volume, but chalked it up to operator error. "

"The property was as good (or even better) than the listing and photos make it seem. We had a very comfortable week-long stay for a group of 10 adults, 2 children, and 2 infants. There was more than enough to do that we were never bored without ever needing to leave the property. Would not hesitate to stay again! "Outside pictures are not accurate. Does not show that it’s in a RV trailer park with other barns and trailers close by. We didn’t end up staying. We were down for a rustic honeymoon experience but this was a little too much, we wanted a little privacy, and also we didn’t realize there wasn’t a stovetop or hot plate in the kitchen. " Located on Old Tobacco Farm. Cottage was everything you see online. Pretty cute. Well maintained. Need to look for the cottage in back. Very quiet. Beautiful roosters on property. There are other residents in the area. It is close to Kerr Lake which is what we needed it for. Would stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay here while visiting family. The property is private and away from any traffic, but also close to downtown. Rooms are rustic decor with clean, basic amenities. Also nice shady porches to enjoy outdoor space. Will definitely plan on staying again!"
