"The hotel is on the edge of Romsey with excellent parking. The picturesque walk into to the centre of town along the river bank is about half a mile. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is comfortable. The restaurant is good too."

"Me and my wife loved our stay here. We came for the Christmas market and this was the perfect location with just a couple of minuets walk. Our room was amazing and had everything we needed and more, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was beautiful, one of the best breakfasts we've had and having it served in our room was and very nice touch. We'll be visiting again. "

"The rooms are comfortable and had all the facilities you would want. The rooms are a little tired but with such a busy island you’ll only be sleeping and showering in it. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming including to our dog who they treated like royalty. Evening meal very good and breakfast which I paid for in advance was impressive. Great location. A little noisy at pub closing time but should be expected as I booked a hotel above a pub!!! Would recommend for all"

"Room had all our needs and was well equipped , clean and smelt fresh at all times , staff very friendly and welcoming. Car parking was excellent no problems at all. "Super friendly and helpful staff . Property is a little tired in places . Could do with sound insulation between rooms very noisy plumbing between rooms) and floors! Especially when a function is on! Having said that our room was lovely and clean with heaps of room , very handy for trip into Southampton for the boat show. Lovely breakfast too! "
