"Amazing place to stay for our Girl Scout ski trip! We rented the cottage which sleeps 12 and had two large, comfy rooms for adults plus large family room and new built in beds off family room for the girls. Well appointed modernized rooms while still retaining an authentic Inn feeling. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the French Toast. "My wife and I were in town for a family gathering and spent three nights at Blue Bear Inn. The building is very quaint and homey, but has all of the amenities you need to provide a very comfortable stay. The location is very pretty with nice views. "Stayed in the winter, place got a bit cold (it does not have central heat). Wasn’t a lighter or enough firewood for our stay but the host brought a lighter and more wood. Beautiful pond in the back and the location is good, with easy access to the highway. Neighbors were close by, we were asked to turn off the outdoor light because it was shining into their house. Cottage was clean. There are security cameras outside. Overall it is a cozy place to stay in a good area. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this beautifully restored 257 year old farmhouse. The location was peaceful and private — truly an unexpected gem within minutes of the center of New Hampshire’s capital city. During our stay we experienced two snowstorms and we were grateful for our host’s balance of respecting our privacy while also ensuring us safe access in and out of the snowy property. We can’t wait to return in June and again in September! "
