The church bells are loud as the description warns and ring every 15 minutes but we managed to sleep through most of it and the experience as a whole is well worth the noise!!!! "

"The property is an amazing 500 year old dwelling. It is conveniently located in the midst of a beautiful neighborhood and kind neighbors. It took us a few days to get used to the beds. They are made of springs, so if you are used to sleeping on a different kind of mattress, this can be challenging to the back."

"We spent the holidays in Gozo and found this property in Ghajnsielem was perfectly located. It was exactly what we hoped for. Our host, Frank, made arrival incredibly easy. He picked us up from the ferry to help with our luggage as well as having delicious food waiting for us upon arrival. He proceeded to take us to the grocery store and then even picked up the 4th member of our group. He went through a map and highlighted walks and sights we should try to hit as well as giving detail...

"This fabulous property with amazing grounds gives you a real glimpse into Malta’s grand homes of the past. There are multiple bedrooms both inside and accessed from outside the main house. The proximity to the airport was not a problem ( couldn’t hear the planes at all). The location was very convenient for grocery shops( either a short drive or a walk to a smaller convenience store )If you have young children there is a lovely little playground just across the road that we put to good use. ...

"This house is no good if you have any kind of walking ishouse. Firstly is the fact that every room is on a different floor. The master bedroom with ensuite is on the ground floor, the next bedroom is up a flight of stairs and so on with each room up more stairs. Secondly is that the house is almost at the top of a hill. You can drive to the house but you can't park, you can only drop off. You have to park next to the marina and walk up all the steps to get to the front door, befour climbing four...

"Everything was even better than I expected. My multi-generational family (2 couples and a teenager) stayed at this amazing home for a week. The original stone features, including the arches, are on the first floor and the renovations on the second and third floors are first rate. Everything was clean and neat, which is not always the case. There is a fully equipped kitchen as well as a washing machine on the upper floor, which makes longer visits a lot less stressful. "There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, which makes it very convenient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I loved the room. It had a nice floor plan, was clean, well maintained and modern. There's plenty of lighting including a good reading light on each side of the bed. I enjoyed the espresso machine, but wish there was creamer available. It would also be nice if there was a place in the bathroom or by the mirror to plug in he hair dryer or a curling iron. "Excellent place to stay! Friendly people, beautiful accommodations! Perfectly located and has a rooftop pool to boot! The only criticism would be the mattresses… they were too firm for our liking and it made it hard to sleep, but we like soft beds so anyone else may not have an issue at all. We are already planning our next trip to Malta and plan to book here again"

"The hotel is huge, despite it looking older than its rivals, the internal decoration was good and was very clean. The rooms were large and we had a seaview. I can find little fault with our stay here. We visited in February and despite some building work going on (which was well advertised) there is plenty to see and do. The evening entertainment was very good. The food choices were fantastic (something for everyone) with of course unlimited drinks in the food restaurants and bars if you are doing AI. The roof top pool has spectacular views and is definitely worth a visit, even if you don't want to dip your toes in the cooler water found in Feb. The indoor pool in the sub-basement is really catered for the spa customers even though it is open to everyone. Based on the 'open to everyone' the changing areas need to be much larger in regards to actual undressing etc and the Sauna and Steam room do need to be larger, but i can appreciate that in peak season these areas would be rarely used. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and what i would say, is those people that moan about this and that, are talking rubbish. Where else can you get a room, all inclusive food and drink for approx £60 a night !! I would not hesitate to book this hotel again. The staff work extremely hard to try and make everyones visit the best that they can."
