"The host we met, (Alexandra) was delightful in every way. I had my 86 th birthday and she absolutely spoilt me with pastries she had made and a beautiful birthday card. Also mother in law sent some home made goats cheese. They are in my case and will be enjoyed in England. As other guests have said the views from the top terrace and pool area are spectacular. "The house is in a very rural area of Gozo and has no direct access by car. To access the property you have to park on the road and then walk down an alley (approximately 400 feet) to the house. The kitchen urgently needs renovation, which we understand will be done shortly. Dishwasher and kitchen counters need to be replaced and also pots and pans. The linen and blankets also need updating and more care has to be paid to the size of the linens and blankets. A twin blanket on a queen bed does...

"House and pool area was lovely. There were 8 adults and only 7 sun loungers but owner had an extra one delivered quickly. Listing did state hot tub but there wasn’t want which didn’t bother us. A scattering of local restaurants and bars and easy bus ride to Victoria. Overall a lovely stay."

"Beautiful farmhouse, spacious, quiet and well equipped. Walk is a lovely town with so many walkable attractions. Gozo is fabulous - worth hiring a car to see the whole island The Trabone family were wonderful! Highly recommend you stay at Simar farmhouse"

"We stayed in this property in July/August 2022. We had an enjoyable and memorable two weeks. It comes with clean and good size rooms, well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. I would prefer at least one room with double bed though. Pool area is nice with pink flowers falling everyday and decent sun beds. Due to the hot weather and surrounding vegetation, the outdoor floor, furniture and pool will require cleaning almost every day before use. The alleyway accessing the house could do with extra light...

"Not a great start to the stay as despite sending messages to the host that we were on our way with an eta we were given no contact details of where to collect the keys to the property. Eventually after a 2 hour wait outside the property and an over an hour phone call to vrbo (which cost a load) who did book us hotel rooms as a last resort as they couldnt contact anyone either we got a phone call from the host when we were on our way to the hotel that the house manager was now at the property to...

"We wanted to go to Gozo after staying in Valetta so booked this farmhouse. The farmhouse was exactly as the listing described and what we wanted. It’s a five-minute walk from Victoria, so it’s very much in the middle of Gozo. It takes only ten minutes to get to all the beach resorts by cab, however. There is a good restaurant, Brookies at the end of the road and a supermarket too."
