They were even very accommodating when we decided to stay an extra night after already stayed 3 that we didn't have to change rooms and even gave us a discount on the extra night. The restaurant and bar area were great, the hotel has a warm cozy feel, the rural views and the tour of the old asylum were a bonus and the gorgeous grounds made for a peaceful visit. "We stayed in the Miners Room 1. It was really good, I’d stay there again. The bath tub under the shower is weird and probably doesn’t need to be there… The wall between the 2 rooms is brick but sounds like it’s paper so hopefully your neighbours go to sleep the same time as you. The are only teaspoons available so if you take food and you need a knife or fork make sure to take them. I’d definitely stay again though. For the price it’s comfortable. "
