"I booked this location because on GPS it seemed walkable. The road from the main road is really steep, and I would not say it is walkable to the main. The area around the property is very nice walk in the rice fields. There are a few nice big restaurants near by, and its wonderful to see fireflies at night. "

"This was the first place l stayed at during my first visit to Bali. Loved the quiet and peaceful surroundings, with stunning views of the rice fields. Great feeling to wake up to the sounds of the birds chirping. The villa itself was spacious, with beautiful furnishings. Staff were gracious and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back on my next visit."

"Our stay far exceeded expectations wrt service (butlers, restaurant and spa staff), food quality, restaurant and overall ambiance. We loved our 5 night stay in a Butler Valley Pool Villa, which was very relaxing. The afternoon rain storms were fantastic! We had several treatments at the spa and three private yoga classes, which were all excellent. The spa location and setting are sublime and fantastic! Raditya “Mr Sun” gave excellent private yoga classes down by the river. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the therapists’ names but they were great too. While we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return, this property (or parts of it) isn’t for everyone. It’s located on a steep hillside in a jungle, which is great for ambiance and views, but it might not be the place for anyone that isn’t comfortable with steep slopes and narrow, steep uneven stairs. There are golf carts for access to the upper levels of the resort only. The spa and lower area is currently only available by steps, but a new funicular/elevator is expected to be operational soon.) It may not be suitable for people with limited mobility or small children. Butler suites are worth the splurge. The butler team uses WhatsApp messenger to keep track of guest requests across shifts. Very organized. They’ll arrange room service and anything that you may need. We were in excellent hands with Yupik, Angga, Wawan, Jaka and Dedy covering the shifts. The restaurant and housekeeping teams were all also very attentive. Thx"

"Our family has been traveling for 3 moths and this has been our favorite stay! Beautiful property that feels tucked away and hidden. The people working the front desk/restaurant/spa are all so warm and welcoming. The grounds are stunning and the food was delicious! "
