"This cabin really takes you back... from a working percolator coffee maker, toaster, & stove, to the super cute blowdryer! Breakman's quarters is an end unit, & has a large, modern walkin shower. Nice water pressure. Kitchen has a working retro-looking fridge & microwave. Easy to access door code & ice available onsite. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the dining table & the adirondack chairs on the lawn. Its August, so many plants & grass have died back, & no train went by on our visit....

"This cabin was quaint, and cozy. It had every amenity to make our 50th Anniversary stay perfect. We only left the cabin once to drive into Florence, OR, because everything we needed to escape the hustle and bustle of the world for a week was included in this rental. The setting was perfect and private, and the rushing creek just feet behind the cabin deck was wonderful to lull you to sleep at night. The kitchen was well equipped with every pan and utensil needed. There was a complete compliment...

The unexpected bonus is the view--it ranges between the distant expanses of the lake on clear days and on foggy days, the trees between the house and the lake take on a mystical quality. "Siltcoos Station is charming, lovingly cared for, and the perfect place to get away from it all. The view of the lake from our cabin was breathtaking. We brought our boat with us and spent a couple of days exploring the lake and the area. Dan and his wife were gracious and responsive hosts, and their dogs were great company. They immediately made friends with our dog. I can’t wait to return! "
