"The staff were very responsive and helpful. The room was spacious enough and the shower was large. It was quiet despite being on a fairly main road area. Grocery store and take away food places within 5 minutes walk. The breakfast and dining area was lovely and you can access this area at all times to make a tea or coffee (as there are no facilities for this in the room. "Pay attention to the check in/deposit process. After check in an email should be sent and a request for a deposit. After the deposit, instructions on your room and how to get in will be sent. Other than that the come and leave as you go is nice and convenient."

"There was a very cosy feel to the hotel and the room. Breakfast was great, with lots of variety and staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the pub on the first night and the meals were delicious. The room was fairly comfortable but it could do with some updating/replacing of items. The mattress was past it's best (resulting in an uncomfortable sleep on the first night) and the taps were loose, with drainage not working great. However we'd certainly return again."

"We loved how reasonable the place was, and how close it was to the airport. However, the mattress was pretty cheap, the shower in room number four was clogged and began to overflow pretty soon after beginning the shower. Finally, a shuttle one-way cost 42 pounds which seems unreasonable for a 10 minute drive. Taxis were cheaper but they were still 30 pounds. If you don’t have a lot of luggage, you can take the subway and it’s not too bad of a walk. "

"Really lovely place to stay, not what I was expecting at first but I have zero complaints about it!! The staff were fantastic, the rooms were beautiful and the shower controls were mindblowing; the only downside is the pillows/mattress aren’t too comfortable, but everything else about the property is fantastic. Thank you for being so accomodating!!"

"Our stay here was a last minute decision to take the stress out of a morning long haul flight and it was perfect. Booked on Christmas day and still received immediate and helpful responses from the owner. The room was perfect for our family of 4. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of off road parking. "Clean, equipped with everything you need for a short stay and everything worked. However, it was noisy, at least the room faced towards the busy street. You could hear every single car through the closed window, someone's car alarm sounded in the middle of the night. Next time the house undergoes a refurbishment they ought to put another layer of windows at this room. "

"Its a bit run down but clean. Its in a house so could be noisy. Its conveniently located to the terminal. The check in experience should be improved as initially i felt it was a scam asking for payment i needed to confirm before making the payment ! An initial email with the dedicated number may help. "

"Where do I start The property was described as a studio. It stated that everyone in my party would be undestrurbed in the accomodation. This is untrue and breaches the trades description legislation The property has a shared kitchen with no privacy in it. The only TV is in the kitchen and so relaxing at the end of the day before bed by watching TV was not really possible My food had to be stored insecurely The access to the room I booked was up very steep steps with a low ceiling This...

Our go-to hotel in London

"Always a pleasure staying here. A big thank you to Shane on reception for making us feel special, again. The room was lovely and clean, spacious, no noise, nice tea and coffee, great bath towels and toiletries, delicious breakfast (fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, cold meats, cheese, hot food: sausages, beans, eggs, bacon), juices, ... A lovely gorgeous salmon and veg dinner that evening in the lobster restaurant. We truly feel at home, welcome and very happy whenever we stay here. Since I've got 2 teenagers, a boy and a girl, i usually book the family room (two connecting rooms) which leaves everyone happy. "

A Great Stay

"We stayed at Thistle Heathrow T5 for one night before our flight the next day. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the Aviator bar and restaurant has great views of the runway. The Heathrow Pods make it really easy to travel to and from the airport to the hotel and are lots of fun! My only criticism of the hotel is the extortionate prices in the little shop by the entrance."

"Excellent check in service, Daniel from the Front Desk does make everything possible to make the guests great. The Executive rooms a very nice and spacious and well equipped. The restaurant food is excellent as well. Can definitely recommend the hotel."
