"We found the house to be just as described if not better. It is beautifully decorated. They have provided the small details that make the stay very nice. The beds are comfortable and extra blankets are available for comfy movie watching on the couch. We were so pleased with the location and how close the house is to Burgess falls. We can't think of anything that they could do to make the stay any better than it already is. We were completely happy."

"We had our children and grandchildren together for a week in this beautiful home. Spacious and also a separate space make it the perfect accommodations. The house is located on Center Hill Lake which was so fun! Would definitely rent here again. Stunning!"

"Loved the property! Pretty peaceful, just a bit far from the interstate."

"We came in just behind a nice little snow storm for the area but that added to the ambience. This property is perfect right now (January) for a nice quiet retreat into the wilderness. The property manager, Linda, is very friendly, and truly cares about providing a happy and positive experience while you stay in the home. I will definitely look to rebook when I come back up for a visit to my TN friends and family. "

"Wanting to get away, but stay close enough to haul our boat w/ us, we decided on this nearby location. Everything was precisely what we expected. Easy access to Center Hill lake and Cookeville Boat Dock made for more time on the water. Our 3 boys loved it and there was not shortage of space for them to safely roam free. Highly recommended for a quick, very accessible getaway from NSHVL. "

"Great overall. Large space for everyone to spread out. Great kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. Beautiful views of the lake. Bathroom floors and rugs need to cleaner. Outdoor trash container needs to be larger for family stays. Outdoor terrain and indoor steps were worrisome for kids and elderly folks. "

"8 of us traveled to The Haven for a girls knitting weekend. We had a wonderful time. We had a problem lighting the fireplace which was explained to us over the phone and fixed quickly. We hope to do this again next year. SSKs"

I didnt mind the walk down and up the backyard to the dock but the roped off access that didnt allow for us to put-in our Yaks at, like we thought, was a disappointment. We did however sit on the well maintained dock and got the bluegill/ bream that was available from the location. Collins River was our actual ctual target drop-in site for the Musky though.
