"My husband, myself and daughter plus our pooch stayed @ hidden Jem for a weekend. It was such a lovely place, beds were extremely comfortable. The host's were very helpful. We loved the outdoor cosy Fire pit area.. Great location, & we enjoyed the treats.Definately would stay again "

"We stayed overnight between fishing days. Close to Creswick and Ballarat, this lovely cottage is peaceful and comfortable. Great kitchen, comfy chairs and beds, close to so many things. And great provisions in the fridge and cupboard. Do yourself a favour and spend a weekend ( or a week) here. "

"The house had everything a guest required and more. The owner has put a lot of thought "

"This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The first time with 4 adults and it was perfect. This time with 8 adults and it was very good, the only negative was the pull out bed for two of the adults was very poor, extremely uncomfortable and not really suitable for adults. Maybe kids might find it comfortable, but if you are booking for all adults like I did, I would not advise to have more than 6. The pool is great, the house is great and the hosts are awesome though."

"Comfortable, spacious, good amenities. Nice space on balcony with treetop outlooks. Lovely walk down to the lake and short walk to town. Good to not always rely on the car! We enjoyed our break and will be back. Cheers "

"Serenity was in a beautiful bush setting with easy access to walks in forests and along creek and also a good walk into Daylesford centre. The house was very comfortable- good beds, comfy sofas, good dining area and kitchen well equipped including a great large fridge. Bathroom clean and functional but old style and limited sink space for a larger group. Great warmth from the fireplace and split systems but gas space heater wasn’t working. Would recommend"

"Great property, cosy, well maintained and very clean."

"We stayed here in 2019, property has been kept in good condition. Bathroom no 5 missing robe hooks, soap holder in shower and the mirror is held in place with blue tack. Given each guest one towel per person needs to change - spares should be available. Those with long hair need two towels. The BBQ isn’t worth using, we’d hoped it would have been updated. A few spare blankets would help. These are very minor items but worth the owner addressing."

"Felt like I was staying in a very unusual Art Gallery. Had to keep our clothes in our bags because nowhere to hang them. It was great to have all our family together and we had lots of fun. "

"Overall good experience. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Great location. Well designed. Some work to be done on the pillows and bedding. The pillows are too warm and uncomfortable. The doona is too warm as well. Forces you to crank up AC which then causes noise issues. Overall inconsistent sleep."

"Beautiful presentation room had everything that I love in a hotel room. Clean, tea coffee and biscuits. Fridge with wine and beer available for purchase. Iron and ironing board double shower. Room very quiet even though it is very near the rail station. I would recommend this to anyone."
