Hotels near Walcourt Station

"Landlady made clear - repeatedly! - this was not a hotel and had double booked one of our two triple rooms. She did find another hotel for two of my guests, but that is not what we wanted! We wanted the group together! So not at all impressed with the organisation or the breakfast which was poor for 15 euro per person. "

"The apartments were fantastic, a real sense of quality, and even with other rooms around you it felt very private. We opted for a lake view and I'm so glad we did - with panoramic views of the lake from large glass windows/doors. The space itself was excellent with a large living area and a small but useful kitchen area. The accommodation is ideally located for Natura Parc leisure facilities - and whilst they are different organisations it would be good if they had better communication/links with each other. For example we had to depart our room for 11am whereas Natura Parc does not open until 1pm. As it was raining we decided to drive on to our next location rather than wait around for 2 hours. Had Natura Parc opened earlier we would have gone there. Whilst this is not the fault of the accommodation it would have been useful if you could check out later on or if there was somewhere you could eat lunch to pass the time until Natura Parc opened."

"We had an amazing stay in Belgium. Daniellle our host was sweet and welcoming. We stayed in the Gite Atelier and it felt as if we were at home. We travelled from the U.K. to the property, which is located centrally and the property is close to the airport near Charleroi which made it easy to collect my parents from. The farm was magical, which made our Christmas memorable. The Gite are self catered which means you do have to bring everything from towels to groceries you require, but this only made it feel more like home. We will definitely visit Belgium again. "
