"I booked a stay of 2 nights and 3 days. The first night I was not satisfied because the food I ordered was not what I ordered and was just regular food. The second night I was satisfied because the food I ordered was what I ordered. The first night's food was cheaper than what I paid for and there was no apology or refund from anyone. Everything else was satisfactory. "

"Exceptional hospitality, food, and amenities - It's a highlight of our trip. When we arrived at property, almost entire staff greeted us on the street by the entrance. Kaiseki meals were wonderful. The second floor recreation room was a happy place to be -Zen garden view, delicious snacks, drinks, and late night soup... The rooms were clean and spacious. Onsen pools were nice, especially the roof top one. We look forward to our next trip there"

"Chalet Ivy Jozankei went above and beyond our expectations. The deluxe room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed every details they had in the room, common area and restaurant. The staff were all super friendly and nice. We will definitely recommend Chalet Ivy to all of our friends and family. The dinner and breakfast meals were amazing. We had such an incredible time here that We didn’t want to leave! "

"Exceptional hospitality in a beautiful, calm environment. The hotel is beautifully maintained. Our room had traditional tatami mats, a view into a small garden and a glorious bathroom with a mini-onsen bath, supplied direct from the source. The main onsen is serene, with indoor and outdoor baths. The bathrooms are generously supplied with a choice of beauty products. We had dinner included, a sumptuous, traditional meal. The bar is well stocked and all-inclusive, including hard-to-get Japanese...

"The room was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and it was good. Unfortunately the breakfast rooms were at least 500 metres away, I was in the South wing and all the breakfast places were in the North wing. Because the hotel is so huge with many different levels and many special areas it was initially difficult to actually find the breakfast rooms. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, but the problem is that the coating in the frying pan in the kitchen has been damaged for a long time. "Amazing stay. The entire family down to my toddler absolutely loved their stay. Room was tastefully designed and extrmeely comfortable. Kids play room was a must visit daily. Breakfast waa a sumptuous spread. "

Nice stay

"Great hotel with a nice breakfast buffet. Went during the off season so was good value and very quiet. Staff super friendly. Some facilities seem a bit dated and bathrooms are the typical Japanese plastic-y bathroom, which wasn’t expected for the Hilton. But still recommend it! Onsen has two pools, and the outdoor pool has a great view. Was surprised there wasn’t an outdoor pool. Definitely better onsens in Hokkaido, though still nice to have the option."
