"The lady at the front desk was very friendly. The room was big. Our room was next to the road. When a car passing by, it felt like a jet flew by, so loud. Good thing was this time of the year, the road was not too busy. In NZ, the water seems unlimited, Everywhere you turn on the water faucets, the water gushes out. But not this place, the water flow in the bathroom sink is pretty low, you need patience to wash hands. The shower is pretty small. There is no outlet in the bathroom so no hair...

"This was suitable place for a one night stay whilst travelling. Affordable. Little noisy if you were a light sleeper as it’s on the main highway. For us it was very convenient as easy to locate having arrived late at night. Easy access .Clean friendly staff in the morning on departure. Would stay again. "

"The chalet is very well appointed and in good condition. I liked the cosiness but with all the conveniences and appliances you might need. What I didn't like was the reliance on previous guests to make the place clean and ready for the next guests, with no obvious thorough check in between. In particular, the bed wasn't made up and it was very difficult to find the right sheets for the bed. Also, the instructions were unclear about how the laundry is dealt with between guests, eg is it...

"It's a good value cottage in a good location just a few minutes from National Park and close to Whakapapa. It could do with a good spring clean, but you can't argue the price. Previous guests could've done more to clean like empty the bins properly, but overall would recommend and the description was accurate! Thanks for having us."
