"The property was tired and dirty, there were dead bugs inside and dog poo on the back lawn. The pool had a lot of dead bugs too. It was comfortable, and, the linen was clean, and lots of space for a big family/group to spread out in."

"The interior of the tiny house is lovely, however the pictures on the listing cleverly avoid showing the surrounding area. There are no trees or fences to provide privacy from the main house, the contiguous cabin or the hiking track that runs through the property. The .main house is barely 10mts away, we could here music coming from it at night. The other cabin is a mere 2mts away and the walking track barely 3mts from the cabin. "First time staying in New Plymouth as a couple and were apprehensive about staying in a place that wasn’t a motel. Couldn’t have been more impressed. Excellent communication, friendliness and key handover. Comfortable bed, outdoor bath and even a hammock! Felt like our own private nest with everything we needed. "Everything would have been perfect … because it’s such a beautiful house, but it’s like a sauna in the Summer without air-conditioner. Only one ceiling fan in the four bedrooms. Lights were annoying to switch on and off."

"A relaxing retreat in a quiet location. Vintage style granny vibe decor, this quaint cottage had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. TV not smart but OK. The garden was nice with lots of fruit trees. Washing machine in bathroom was good but no extractor fan in bathroom and no insect screens to keep bugs out if windows left open.Beds were varied. Twin beds very comfy and queen bed too soft and very high off ground. Nice to have bed in conservatory, made a fabulous day bed for relaxing...
