The State Hotel is in such a handy location in the middle of town. Off street parking is a must in the CBD and Joe's Garage underneath for a great breakfast. It has been restored beautifully with a modern touch on old world luxury. Luke was a great host both greeting on arrival and farewelling on departure. I would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay here last night. Its beautifully decorated and furnished inside. Very clean and the king bed was super comfy. Its also within walking distance of the town centre.

Property conveniently located near City Centre, clean, very helpful & friendly staff. Thank you Luke. Reminiscent of combination Victorian era & 60-70''s throwback. Very small bathroom, very small sink but do offer shampoo/ conditioner/lotion in bath, even free self serve laundry room.
