Located just 20 minutes north of the airport, the Shores at Waikoloa is a perfect spot for your home base as you explore the island.

Shores #117 is ground floor and centrally located to the complex amenities and all of Waikoloa! One-bedroom with one & a half bathrooms, this unit will accommodate 4 guests comfortably with central AC, WiFi, in-unit washer/dryer, and a well-equipped kitchen.

Located in Waikoloa Beach Resort, offering a wealth of activities. Anaehoomalu Bay: white-sand beach, historic Hawaiian fish ponds and hiking trails. Ideal for swimming, snorkeling, windsurfing, kayak and outrigger canoe, scuba diving and surfing. Rent beach toys, ride a glass bottom boar or paddle an outrigger canoe or book a catamaran cruise. The condo was nicely situated away from traffic. Loved being on the ground floor with privacy. The condo had everything we needed for our comfort and stay and the hot tub was a nice retreat each evening. A Bay beach is a short walk, nice sandy beach, sunsets, turtles. Also has shopping relatively walkable. We spent our days out and about. We had air conditioning, but dont feel it was necessary being very windy outside (February).

Love the Shores!
We've stayed in Waikaloa many times, several times at the Shores. This is a nicely located unit. Missed a couple of things usually found in these units like placemats and BIG beach towels, really tiny little toaster.This ground level unit has poor sound insulation in the ceiling and we heard every step the lady upstairs took back and forth and back and forth. AC worked great and quietly:)

Had a wonderful stay. It would have been a 5 star stay except for the lack of blackout curtains in the bedroom, which would have helped to keep the bright sunlight from shining in at 6:30 am, and the loud footsteps of the neighbors upstairs. Maybe I should only consider a top floor property. Otherwise, everything was great!

Excellent except the A/C
We loved the condo, and the location was perfect for us. We had family nearby, and it was easy enough to access the areas we wanted to visit. The only complaint/warning: if it says A/C , it doesn’t necessarily mean you will be able to make it as cold as you are used to. Ours was limited to 73 degrees, which was not close to cool enough for my spouse. Some property listings specify this; all of them should. For that reason alone, we would look for another property for next year, but if that doesn’t concern you, this place is great.

The place is in a great location and everything went smooth. My only complaint was on the limited quantity of kitchen utensils. We had to dishwasher sometimes twice a day. If it wasn't for that I would have given 5 stars. Mahalo!

Beautiful property and well equipped condo
We enjoyed our stay very much, and would book there again for sure! The condo was well equipped with beach gear, kitchen stuff, bedding, towels, etc. The condo and property were very clean - except that we found fresh gum on the sidewalk outside our door several times, likely from a rude guest above us. The pool and hot tub were very clean, great temperatures, and never busy. The check-in process couldn’t have been easier - all info was provided by email in advance. The concierge and property managers were readily available by email and responded promptly, politely, and professionally to our inquiries. We loved the location. The immediate area was a beautiful resort neighborhood with nearby shopping (including a well stocked grocery store). 10-minute walk to the ocean and 30-minute walk to A-Bay Beach with snorkeling, swimming, showers, flush toilets, and turtles. Ideally we would have liked a shorter walk for the kids to a swimming beach but this beach was a very short drive with public parking, and the property was with 15-30 minutes of many amazing beaches!

Had a great time and loved the private patio! Would visit again! Hopefully the management company let you know the ice maker wasn't working, along with the kitchen facet only works in the spray mode and doesn't retract all the way. No big deal on either of these but we let the management office know the status. Great place!

Beautiful Property Grounds, horrible beds!
The grounds are beautiful. Unfortunately, the two full beds in this condo are very uncomfortable and completely broken down. Both beds sag in the middle. The management stated that the owners are going to replace the beds in May. I wouldn't book this property until they are replaced. Also, plan on renting beach chairs the ones provided are for children as well as the cooler. We made the management aware that the ice maker was broken. Condo needs some TLC and some added thoughfulness for guests.

Fit My Needs During High Season
I found this listing less than a month before I planned my trip during the busy part of the year and booking went smoothly. Kona Coast vacations managed the reservation and provided all necessary information to access the unit, the pool, the gym, and use the assigned parking space. The kitchen was well-stocked for vacation cooking. The closets were well-stocked for beach outings. The unit faces east, and I enjoyed watching sunrises over Mauna Kea, and the location of the unit puts it on the cool side of the building in the evenings.
