"Very friendly front desk reception and bellmen. We so appreciated the visitor lounge to change to go to beach prior to room being ready. Equally convenient after check out , we used the showers before leaving to airport. A wonderful plus! We fully enjoyed the restaurants on site. Great value and delicious!"

"I love everything about this place, from when I checked in, from the room, the people at the restaurant in the bar, the rooms itself, and all that. The biggest con that this place has, it’s that is too far from most of the things going on in Barbados, such as savvy on the bay, brownes Beach, Boatyard and everything else that goes on, on the west beach. HOWEVER, you’re only 24BBD away from Oistins Fish market so it’s definitely a blessing to be close and not a far drive to be away from. This hotel is more of a secluded location and more slowed down. Other than that, I will come back and rent out this hotel again in the future. "

"We stayed one night before a cruise embarking from this port the next day. The reception was very friendly and welcoming. We had messaged ahead thru Expedia to advise that flight delays would cause us not to arrive until almost midnight. At check-in it was a very nice surprise to learn that they had kindly prepared us each a plate of sandwiches, fruit, and muffin “to tide you over until breakfast.” Our room was immaculately clean even if the furniture and fixtures showed some age and wear. The location is right on the beach, with water views. At check-out, the government that we has to pay directly to the hotel was twice the amount Expedia had stated on our receipt. We would stay here again. "

"Sugar Bay was a beautiful spot. Beach was beautiful! It is part of a coral reef, so swim shoes a must. Different dinner options every night, a nice mix of local and international cuisine! Amazing staff, beautiful and so helpful and friendly! It is very close to Bridgetown, and local transportation very easy to take. Also not far from airport, 20 mins, which make Sugar Bay a perfect location. They accommodated our stay with a family room with three single beds, which suited us perfectly. Very clean and well organized overall! We throughly enjoyed our stay!"
