"The Casa dei Delfini is a credit to the owners, who have restored their two buildings with care and sensitivity for their historical roots. They have brought light into the buildings, while preserving their authenticity. Our hosts made the first contact with us, and responded to our messages quickly. Konstantinos was kind and informative, and his mother was fantastic in her enthusiasm for the restoration and care of the buildings. We had the generous and tasty breakfast one day and recommend it. Our rooms at the top of the hotel gave us a glorious view of Rethymno and its Fortezza. Konstantinos helped us get our heavy suitcases up the steps. You can stay on level one or two in the older rooms, or like us, stay on the top floor to take advantage of the magnificent view of the town and the mountains."

"We had a really relaxing time at the Kalyves beach hotel. What wasn’t clear to us at booking was the “all inclusive” and “all inclusive welcome gift” option. We went for the latter which gave us the “all inclusive plus” package at the hotel and was well worth the small extra cost, giving us unlimited cocktails, room upgrade and discount on the spa. Excellent value for money and still easily got enough for us (27c) at the end of September. The buffet food selection was great for us too as we could pick and choose what we wanted. We loved the stay and the entertainment in the night arranged by Momo was excellent too. Everyone was so friendly and keen to help we felt so looked after and pampered! Fully recommended!"
