"Villa Roccia is great. Beach just across the road was fabulous for late evening walks…but the pool and hot tub area was the star of the holiday. The village has a couple of grocery shops with a wonderful boulangerie too. Everyone was friendly, especially the host, Carine. Wonderful holiday. Long drive from uk but French roads and drivers are so much calmer than uk, so it was stress free from Calais."

"We, a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, had a great one week stay in this very nice designed and comfortable house. It has all luxury you can think of, including climate control and perfect beds. The garden has sun and shadow places all day and is extremely well equiped. Communication went well and any questions were answered quickly. Puilboreau is a very quiet village at biking distance of lovely places like La Rochelle and Ile de Ré. The presence of the cat was a surprise to us, but he was nice...

"The hob didn’t work the lights outside around the table were not working, the pool was not maintained and we were not able to swim in it . As a consequence of the cooker not working I had to pay for six of us to eat put all the time! And the food I bought from the supermarket to cook went off !! My daughter is visually impaired and fell down the steps because the lights were not working!! I contacted the manager on 10 different occasions and she did not get back to me . "My family and I have enjoyed a really lovely week in this great house. The property is very well equipped very comfortable and has everything you could need. There’s plenty of space for everyone and the kids appreciate the WiFi. It was very easy to find and thanks to Kevin the caretaker we soon felt at home. One of the best things for me was that you don’t really need a car when you’re there. The local shops and bar are only a few minutes walk away and the big supermarket is just a short cycle...

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette jolie maison. Elle est située dans un village plein de charme, et proche de toutes les commodités. La piscine est magnifique, la terrasse donne sur le marais, de quoi profiter du calme ambiant. Quant à la maison, elle est équipée de tout le nécessaire ! Thermomix, kitchenaid, nespresso, et tous les ustensiles de cuisine dont on a besoin. La literie est exceptionnelle, nous avons tous très bien dormi. Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain et...

"Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Estelle und Jerome sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Es gibt überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln, im Gegenteil ... vieles ist besonders hervorzuheben. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was eine Familie benötigt, die Einrichtung modern und stilvoll, der Außenbereich mit Pool gepflegt und gemütlich und vieles mehr. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder."

"Exactly as advertised. Complete privacy, even in the garden. Games room and pool area absolutely brilliant. The hosts, Stephanie and Cyrille, live nearby in case of any problems. We had some queries about how to use the appliances and these were resolved within half an hour. They welcomed us at the start and end of our stay, but otherwise left us alone, which was a perfect balance. Thank you, we hope to visit again."
