"Great stay in a quiet area and a few minutes ride to the center of Hilo. I loved the greenery views and the sounds of what felt like the rain forest. The bed was quite comfortable, A/C was solid, and easy communication with the host. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Great, clean house with 4 bathrooms, great kitchen. Large tables inside and out for a crew. But the property is dated. I acknowledge that upkeep near Hawaii shoreline is a challenge. The pool interior is ready for redo...but kids will not care and easy to monitor from comfortable locations. The pool water was clean since it recycles every day. This is a large, roomy house for group, but HOT bedrooms on main floor, since AC is not centrally located. The dryer vents into the laundry/twin...

"After a crazy busy week on Maui we chose this secluded mountain retreat on the Big Island. We picked and ate fresh fruit from the orchard daily (lychee, apple banana, avocados, passion fruit, guava, oranges and limes) and enjoyed the cool breezy nights. Ryan is the perfect host and shared lots of insight on local dining, sightseeing and history. Beautiful sunset views every night!!"

"Loved our time at the Jungalow. So close to the park!! Easy to “pop” in… we were fortunate enough to see some actual lava flow/fountaining! We also were blessed with a clear night… seeing the stars from the park is truly incredible. Really appreciated the fireplace and the heaters as it was definitely much cooler than the Kona side. Spent some time on the porch watching the chickens… so fun to watch them interact! "

"We loved our time here! The property is just like the photos and it's so close to Volcanoes National Park. There was an eruption the day we arrived and we were able to get to it in 10 minutes. It's also just beautiful to be surrounded nature. A comment: there weren't any blinds/curtains, so be aware when the sun comes through in the morning."
