"Overall my family enjoyed our stay over Christmas at GRAND. Across the road from the bus (which we used to go to the Brunni ski hill) we also really enjoyed walking around town. When we came back to our cozy room, the entry was usually bustling, but our room was quiet- we loved our little balcony. "The view was amazing and the ability to travel via the Rigi Bahn network all over the mountain was spectacular. The property owner was very communicative and helpful. Only problem was we wanted to stay longer! Unforgettable vacation. "

"Cons- The family accomodation not suitable for more than 4 people with a max of 2 adults per stay. The towels were tiny, they were only big enough to wrap around my 5 year old son. The lift in the building was tiny and only big enough for 2 people. Pro-The apartment was easily accessible and the communication was excellent. The supermarkets were the next to the apartment which was great. The walk to the city was easy and close. "

"This was an awesome hotel. 10' walk from train station and no stairs (however, there are cobblestones). The front desk staff were particularly awesome. I forget her name, but one of the ladies was so helpful when my husband needed some medical help. Very much appreciated! The only small negative is that the soap dispensers were VERY hard for me to squeeze (both shower & sink) to get soap dispensed - but I do have arthritis :( Other than that, don't hesitate to book these lovely, yet affordable hotel."

"Small hotel close to the train station and about an 8-10 minute walk to the old town. The “big room” was spacious with a nice sitting area. I saw the “medium room” and it was big enough for 2 people. You may hear trams go by but it’s not loud and frequent. The area around the hotel is great with several coffee shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again."
