"Stayed in the upstairs appartment which run the length of the building .Very well equipped with washing machine and a dish washer,a welcome surprise. The pool is in a secluded garden location. Negatives Our end bedroom had a strange en suite bathroom arrangement. A screen instead of a wall. A Jack n Jill sink taking up space that could have been used for a toilet and single sink. A bit odd!."

"We had a fabulous week, we were met by the lovely Florence when we arrived who showed us around and explained the property. The photographs online do not really do it justice and it exceeded our expectations.The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and all bathrooms had a hairdryer. The separate laundry room with an additional refrigerator was a bonus. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows if needed. The beautiful garden was huge and well maintained with stunning views over the valley....

"The property had the advantage of a lovely pool (shared with other guests) which was fantastic as temperatures exceeded 35 degrees while we were there. The cottage was in a lovely quiet village and we purchased a lot of local produce from the Co-op cabin situated in the village square - well worth a visit. The property was ideally located to visit many lovely areas of the Dordogne such as Montignac, Sarlat, Domme and many others."

It took about 7 hours from Caen (will fly to Bergerac next time) The farmhouse was beautiful, clean and spacious. Comfy beds, well-catered kitchen, good WiFi. "The house is beautifully restored…better in person than in the pictures. Rachel snd Fred were very helpful hosts and stay nearby. The whole experience was wonderful - beautiful house in a charming village with option to take daily walks. Other villages just 5-10km away with grocery stores and restsurants- notably Les Arques, Catus and St Médard. Great water sports at Le Lac Vert in Catus. The house also has beautiful gardens and pool with stunning views of neighboring countryside."
