"We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. Bill had also brought some snacks/breakfast for us. The place was gorgeous, and very quiet, being in the middle of the countryside. It is located about 30 min drive from the scenic town...

"From our arrival to our departure, Eric the host, could not have been more helpful. The property is easy to find at the end of a small lane with extensive grounds. Eric had prepared a list of recommended restaurants in the area, which is helpful. The room was quiet and spacious. "We stayed here for one night after arriving earlier in Cherbourg. The property was easily found using a sat nav. The owner, Roger, was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable with refreshments available. Having asked prior to our arrival, we had a fantastic 3 course evening meal expertly prepared and presented by his young chef Brenda. Breakfast in the morning was a continental offering with the option of freshly cooked bacon and scrambled eggs. Everything was spot on....
