"I don't usually leave reviews but we were pretty blown away. The place was super nice, clean and spacious with AC and access to laundry through the property manager. The property manager couldn't have been nicer and accommodating. We were waiting for some sort of catch given how big and nice the apartment looked online but from our experience everything was completely legit. Highly recommend! "

"Modern clean comfortable and somewhere to look forward to returning at the end of the day. Optional breakfast with broad choices and good quality. Staffing very helpful and check in simple.Fabulous views. An A4 small detail map provided but greater greater detail would be helpful. (Full maps are difficult to find). Downside limited parking for those with cars. Generally a most enjoyable stay (I wish it were longer). "

"Looked amazing on the photos but not as nice in reality, check in was a bit of a pain having to call and wait for staff to turn up from a different hotel. Room was new but lots of corners cut. Breakfast was great and barman and staff at breakfast were really nice, "

"An exceptional weeks stay in every way! Amazing balcony view, in central yet such a serene setting. Spacious and stylish. Michele is a kind, friendly and most helpful host making it a comfortable stay. Many places nearby for breakfast and stroll to either Cathedral or main piazza. A delightful place i would come again. "Three couples, cousins, stayed two nights at the Castello to explore Assisi and Gubbio. My wife and I and our young children stayed at the castle in 1998. We all thought it was special. Since then we have now been again twice and the experience has only gotten better and better! Highly recommend for an extremely unique experience in Umbria with much to see a in the area."

"The room fantastic, the surroundings lovely and there is potential to be 5/5. However we had two problems body there made worse by temperatures close to 40C. When we arrived here was nobody there to receive us so we were stuck at the gate for 1/2 an hour until I got the attention of a guest by sounding the car horn. Guests finding a number and ringing on cell phones IS NOT an alternative to reception and for us from overseas not an option. Secondly the air conditioning only worked in fan mode...

"Overall it was a good place to stay. It’s a very simple place, which is great for Assisi. The biggest issue is the communication from the host. The host sent an email the day we were supposed to check in with crucial info to get in the property. The host didn’t tell us to look out for this email, and we didn’t have data, so we didn’t check our email when Wi-Fi was available. The host should have told us when we made the reservation to expect an email the day of check in."
