"This is a fantastic villa, well equipped for a comfortable stay in a stunning location. We really enjoyed the area - swimming and paddle boarding in the lake and cycling. Bauduen is a small village, very pretty with restaurants to enjoy. I really recommend this villa if you like the quiet life - hopefully we will return!"

"We stayed with our children. Mme Mangeot was very Kind and helpful. She made a lot of suggestions as to where to visit after we told us what our interests were. It feels very much in the country (birds singing, quiet) although it was about .5-1 hour from most of the places we wanted to visit. The drives to those places were also interesting and full of stops at local places (Saigon Village nearby is beautiful) so it didn’t feel too out of the way. We would definitely come again!"

"Nous avons passé la semaine de Noël dans la villa.Nous avons apprécié la taille, le grand séjour avec de beaux volumes, la localisation proche de Manosque et la fourniture du linge de maison (serviettes et draps).Cependant, la maison est ancienne et mériterait une rénovation qui est en cours par le propriétaire. Notamment la cuisine n'est pas très pratique et pas assez équipée (vaisselle et casseroles) pour un groupe d'une dizaine de personnes."

"The house was perfect. It was very spacious with multiple areas to relax in sun or shade at any time of day. It was very well equipped and we had everything we needed. The pool was lovely and even cleaned during our stay. We spent many days relaxing at the house but also went to the Gorge for canyoning, paddleboarding, canyoning, kayaking, e-biking (a must do along the left side of the Gorge!) and swimming. "Super location. La maison correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes. Isolée et sauvage, elle reflète parfaitement la beauté de cette région. Par ailleurs très bien équipée nous y avons passé un très bon week-end. Emanuelle a été particulièrement simple et agréable dans sa communication. Enfin, les gorges du Verdon sont facilement accessibles. Je recommande chaudement."

"The villa is only a short hilly walk from the village, great for buying your fresh bread for breakfast in the morning. Nice location great views and very quiet. The pool is gorgeous so warm and the caretaker cleans it a couple of times during the week. You can hire bedding and towels, but would advise you take own towels as the hire ones are only bath towels and not bath sheets so a little small. "Beautiful property with attentive and friendly staff. I got engaged here and it was absolutely gorgeous. The room overlooked the courtyard and the grapevine field behind it. I never needed anything because the experience was so well thought out. Plus it is close to aix-en Provence which was nice if you want to go into town. My literal only began is that we weren’t fans of the restaurants for the price. We are Americans and my fiance is pretty picky, so it could be cultural differences or personal preferences. Overall this place was absolutely stunning. It felt like a dream and was easily in my top best hotel stays. Every detail was perfect from the comfort of the bed to the softness of the towels. Everything was luxurious and I highly recommend staying here. "

Difficulties upon arrival

"Turns out they were closed on the day of our checkin which we were not aware of. We tried to call and no one answered. We finally got a number for emergencies and he gave us the code to the safe with our key. When we got to the place they had not prepared at all. The beds were not made, there was no soap or cleaning items to towels yet checkout required us to wash dishes. The electricity was also off so we had to find the electrical box. The WiFi also didn’t work. When we tried to calll back the emergency number no one answered."

"Our experience was exceptional! Catherine in reception was extremely helpful in getting us situated, and making our reservations for dinner, wine tasting, and other amenities. The food in the three restaurants we yried was amazing. We had a great time. It was difficult to leave. We will be back."
