"This was an excellent choice. We have stayed in Lerma before en route to the Santander ferry but have opted for more modest accommodation. I decided to spend a little more and boy was it worth it. The only negative was our late arrival and early start, so we did not have much time to enjoy the surroundings, so next time we will be sure to arrive sooner. Reception could not have been friendlier or more helpful, both arriving and departing. We were escorted to the lift. We were on floor 4, and the riom signage was not as helpful as it could be, and as it is quite dark it is difficult to see the room numbers...until you realize they are on the tiles and not the door. The room was superb, with a fabulous bed, very comfortable, my best night's sleep in the 3 month visit to Spain. Also the bathroom is huge, and lots of opulent touches. We had some drinks in the lounge area...la Bodeguita. It was very relaxing. The dinner menu was varied and encouraging but after a long drive nibbling various items in the car i did not think i would do it justice so we skipped dinner. Next time. There is a market on Wednesday mornings so we could not park in Plaza Major to the front of the hotel. The underground hotel car park is €14 per night, which i felt was expensive, as there was plenty of alternative street parking close by. We will definitely return."

"A sweet and quirky little hotel in a quiet, off the beaten path town. The rooms are unexpectedly nice - newly remodeled, comfortable linens and bedding, nice towels, very clean bathrooms. Parking is on the street, free and safe. Easy places to walk the dog nearby. "

"Booked for 1 night as a stop over on way to ferry. Arrived late afternoon, spent some time in the pool, room had small kitchen and we bought some bits with us, so had dinner and enjoyed the sunset over the fields"

"A modest location but with a beautiful room and friendly staff. We were particularly impressed with our dinner, three courses with a large beer all for less than €40 for two. Very conveniently situated in terms of proximity to Burgos, an effortless 10 drive. Highly recommend and would stay again. "
