The house is equipped for a holiday stay (no bath towels but hand & tea towels + bath mats provided - don't know if this is a French thing). Both showers are large and powerful. There was always plenty of hot water . TV is French terrestrial but there is fast internet so we watched Netflix and Sky with no difficulty by streaming through laptop to the TV. "We were an extended family - grandparents,parents, children and teenagers. We travelled by train and had no car. The house is spacious - plenty of room for all. Great kitchen and dining spaces. Superb shops for all needs, especially lots of organic and local farm produce. Wonderful wild swimming and energetic walks around Mt Lozere. Easy train travel to Nimes, Villefort and surrounding villages. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"The gite was very clean and comfortable, and everything was provided that we needed. The owner, Fabien, was very helpful, before and during the holiday, offering suggestions of places to visit and telling us about the history of the region.Great hospitality was shown to us. We appreciated our visits to both local and regional venues such as Nimes,Uzes, and the Cevennes National Park, and the pool was a great asset to us on very hot afternoons. "An amazing place to stay. Very peaceful, with beautiful grounds and, of course, the clear river and its many pools for bathing. The wooden terrace, where we ate all our evening meals, was like being in a giant treehouse. Our little grandson loved to watch all the trees. "We zijn gebleven voor 1 nacht en daarbleef het bij algehele indruk slecht niet schoongemaakt veel spinnen webben en als we er vragen over hebben dan. Krijgen we als antwoordt dat dit bij frankrijk hoort.zwembad op de foto is niet daar aanwezig maar vijf minuten lopen en sterk vervuild. Veel zaken in de gite zijn kapot bij binnenkomst wordt er nog snel een lamp grplakt met contact lijm. Bij het verlaten van wc breekt de klink van de deur. Niet sporen van vorige huurders nog zichtbaar in de keuken...

"This villa is very well equipped. Comfortable beds. Spacious rooms.Not always possible to find an en suite on the ground floor for a 92 year old! Quiet location. Beautiful scenery. The only slight annoyance, no towels, so come prepared! Luckily our friends living nearby provided us with them! Would recommend this villa which has the bonus of a swimming pool, for the warmer weather, boules area and table tennis space. Thank you Jean Michael Michaud for providing a welcoming home!! "
