"This was a perfect stopover between Naples airport and Calabria! Only 2.5 hours from NAP. Prior to my arrival I was informed via WhatsApp of all the codes to enter the building and parking lot. Marialucia and her sister are great and friendly hosts. The building is easily accessible off the main highway. The building is 3 story with 2-3 rooms on each floor. "We were travelling from north to south and needed a stop halfway. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was very clean and stylish. Nice breakfast and a very friendly and helpful host. We arrived with two very young kids and she arranged that we could have early dinner at a nearby restaurant (that we hadn't found with Google maps). Nearby roads are decent compared to what you'lll find elsewhere in southern italy"

"This place had great potential but failed to capitalize on it because of its deceptive advertising It is not a bed and breakfast because they don't serve breakfast. You are strictly forbidden to use the kitchen you pass thru to access your room, nor even use the kettle or coffee maker to make your own tea or coffee. "A totally off the beaten path mountaintop retreat in a quaint village. The surrounding area is quite stunning. Nothing but lush agriculture and nature on very steep hills with views. There is a rustic ristorante in town with pretty good if not gourmet food, inexpensive beer and wine and plenty of good cheer from the other guests of all ages. If you are up for something different, make the slow windy drive here and you should be delighted."

"The property is a nice and cozy place near the sea. The area around was quiet and kids friendly. The host is super friendly and caring. Room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good. The host gave us a bag of water and juices for our continuous trip. We stayed there just one night but we would definitely stay more and return again"

"The owner was very helpful in responding to us. We enjoyed the quiet location where we could relax and do laundry when we weren't spending time with our friends nearby. We did bring our own toilet paper to supplement what was left in the house and we paid a bit extra to have bedding and towels provided. All in all, it was a very desirable location. Our children liked the proximity to a beach and the nearby market."

Excellent rustic stay

"Relais il Mulino was an amazing experience I highly recommend anyone who is visiting Calabria to stay here. The hotel is surrounded by nature making it a peaceful and relaxing place. I also loved the architecture, which was very rustic. The service was excellent and all staff were very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to return for a 2nd visit. "
