"Kath, the owner, is a very nice person. She lives next door which facilitates communication. She is very helpful. The place is cozy. We enjoyed the pool. We would definitely go there again."

"On arrival there were no helpful instructions / information. First impressions were terrible. The oven didn't work and we couldn't get any heating or hot water. There are two comfortable bedrooms but the accommodation is not ideal if you wish to cook your own meals or spend any time there. Once contacted the local 'agent' did her best to help and fortunately a local bar solved some of our problems! "This is a very nice apartment in a good location for touring the area. The host was super responsive to any questions we had and speaks English which was helpful for us. It is easy to walk to the grocery and sites in the town of Antequera. We used it as a base to visit Granada and Cordoba."

"This apartment was in the perfect location with all the amenities we needed for our stay. Located directly below the Alcazaba at the edge of the Plaza Coso Viejo. Walking distance to several excellent bars and restaurants as well as many historical sites. Victoria was very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely go back..."

"We had an amazing stay for 10days .. was nice to be close to Malaga yet out enough to have peace and quiet. The children loved the pool and having no neighbours meant we did not have to worry about their noise. We saw wildlife and would watch the gecko’s at night. Owners are amazing and friendly.. definitely recommended the house for anyone who wants to be off the grid!!!"

We're coming back!

"Beautiful expansive property the grounds surrounding the main traditional "Spanish Villa-style hotel building are as fabulous and beautifully maintained as the building itself. We had drinks and tapas in the bar, and a delicious dinner in the restaurant that was open all day so as we were travel weary it was nice not to have to wait until 8/9-ish to eat dinner. Large choice of wines as well. Everything is clean and comfortable: Bedrooms & ensuite bathrooms are also traditional style ours looked out onto the walled lawns again lawn & shrubs trees well-kept and in the room everything works! Nice hot showers & baths meticulously clean! Plenty of parking - we had a rental car. we didn' get a chance to try the modern gym/pool facility though. We're coming back!"

"If you want seclusion away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. Away from the main road, but with access to great lookouts and hiking paths! The property is a bit old but the staff care for it how they can. Expect waning luxury, but clean and livable rooms. It gets cold in the winter so bring some fluffy PJs. Staff is helpful and pleasant. Sometimes the jabalí show up--one was there during dinner. "

B bou hotel-la Viñuela & Spa - best in class

"A beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The service from staff has been exemplary, with particular regard for David (in the restaurant) and Sequoia (uncertain spelling, on reception). They, and others have been great advisers to first-time visitors. Other staff were excellent in minor interactions. Our only complaint would be about the delay with check-in procedures, but that was soon dismissed by us. We will be back... Even fellow clients are worthy of mention, particularly Dermot and Patricia from Leinster, Ireland "
