"The convent is on the top of the hill next to the castle. We enjoyed staying in a place with such history. Tavira is a quiet town, we enjoyed walking along the river."

"This was a great accommodation in a large hotel complex that was walking distance to the center. We had a suite with a king bed and large sitting area. Parking was easy onsite with spots in front of the hotel and in a parking garage. The buffet breakfast was very good. We visited in winter and it was very rainy and windy but there were several people there to golf. The rooftop bar was very nice with views of the city. Recommend it. "

"Great location and facilities. It was my birthday and I appreciated the bottle of bubbly in my room. The cleaning staff were were very friendly. The indoor pool was lovely. The only problem was that we booked the hotel because it had a spa but the hotel did not inform us beforehand that it was closed during the two days that we were there. That was very disappointing. "

"We. booked their sister hotel but when we got there, the hotel was closed. We finally got into the hotel that was closed and the operational staff said that that they moved us to another hotel. Although, they never sent us a text or email on this move. When we finally found the new hotel, they gave us a room that faced a busy road. We asked to change the room, however we had to pay an additional cost. Not my favourite hotel. "

"Excellent hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean premises and well equipped, good sized rooms. 2 swimming pools, a gym, good food options and plenty of free car parking add to the positives. A good hotel all round with lovely beaches nearby and the national park to walk in. Highly recommended. "
