"We are family of four with two small kids (4and 6) we have stayed in their separate apartment- it has two rooms and great living space. Flat/ apartment was very comfortable and had all we needed , you are in the heart of Rovaniemi and everything is close from the food stores to restaurants and any travel agency for day trips. We have use BeyondArctic (they had a discount if you stay in hostel). Our breakfast was included and it’s plenty of choice (all continental) , but what was the best that we could have a hot buffet lunch after all our morning trips at the hostel (ps is very popular with locals and gets very busy , so sometimes you have to wait for a table , but most people are here on their break and don’t take long). Buffet was different every day and we found things for our kids and us , meaning we could just relax (kids eats free!!!) Overall great place , friendly staff , amazing location and we were often just hanging out on the swings inside the restaurant/reception while kids were playing in a little play area with lots of toys. "

"Great place for a family vacation! Amazing sauna on the lake experience. Also, you can glide on the lake (they have special sled). No ice skating on the lake though, unless you have your own skates. "

"Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff! Our room was huge and this was such a great location. All of the tours & adventures we booked had pickup points at this hotel which made it super convenient. I would definitely stay here again! Big shoutout to all of the staff who work here :)"

"Great space for the family with an extra bedroom, sauna and a small kitchen. Easy access, friendly staff and quiet. Most of the shops and restaurants close by 5 pm, including Santa visit so we missed them. Would have done some of those before check-in if we had known."

"Best option for value, location and comfort. I arrived close to midnight and the staff were so welcoming. Public bus to/ from airport and Santa’s village are a few blocks away. Just pay with a credit card. 2 shopping centers within 2 blocks and a 12-15 minute walk to the Articles Garden to see the Northern Lights. Sauna is warm 6-9 pm and unisex. Very nice. Bed was comfy and bathroom large and warm. Definitely worth iit and affordable. "

"Everything was excellent. I appreciate the ability to eat and snack within my room and have be one the amenities offered. The only thing I would criticize and ot was fairly insignificant was that laundry options wereade the machine was broken. Not the end of the world but it would have allowed me to give it a perfect review. 4.99/5 😉"

"Santa’s igloo’s was an amazing resort to stay at. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. All igloos are all within walking distance to all the attractions and every igloo is very cozy, clean and comfortable. I recommend this resort for anyone looking for an amazing experience viewing the Northern Lights and enjoying the surrounding area."

"This is a former Olympic training center now used by local youth as a full time training facility so there's a LOT of kids and families staying here but everyone was polite and well behaved. There was no nonsense. There are two food facilities on site - a snack bar that has sandwiches, burgers and snacks and the cafeteria used to feed the athletes and provide the free breakfast. Both were very good. I highly recommend the in-room sauna rooms if you can get them. Note this is an easy to get to place from the airport but there is nothing within walking distance. Beds are very comfortable but there's no way to turn up the heat in the rooms. TV is very limited. You'll be Uber'ing to town and every where else from here. But thats not a deal braker. it was a good place to stay."
