"We arrived late in the evening, around 2330 local time with 3 children under 5 in tow. I had been in contact with the hotel several weeks prior to let them know about my arrival time, and I had been assured that there was no further action needed - I would be sent instructions 24 hours prior and that there was no need for anyone from the hotel staff to be there on arrival. On the day of travel and arrival, I received a message from hotels.com, which I mistakenly thought was from the property....

"Christine and Olivier have a lovely house and have made it comfortable and welcoming for guests. We really enjoyed our stay, the room was big and airy with a super bed. There is tea and coffee provided and breakfast was just right. We had dinner in Nieppe one night and also in the Chaplin bar across in Belgium. There is a Hyper-U just by the highway if you are looking for bargains ahead of the ferry home. We cycled in to Lille along the canal which was very enjoyable. The park opposite is nice...

"So peaceful and great countryside. Spotlessly clean, Shower is hot and plenty of water. Loved the setting in a rural farming community. Wonderful polite People there. It's a must stay if you are working near by or out for day trips. Everything is secure in parking and rooms. I loved this place. My only disapointment was I cound't take the three friendly goats home from the front yard. This is a must stay at place.I can't praise it enought. Thank you for a fantastic few days while I put flowers...

The grounds were beautiful with many different sitting areas in a park like setting. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. "This is a fantastic apart hotel and I recommend it. The 12th floor has great views of the city. The staff are excellent and check in etc was very easy. Rooms have a small kitchen with kettle, microwave, cooker, fridge and pans/crockery etc. all in good condition. Hotels.com say check out is 12:00.... Actually it's 11:00. Very central and very easy for station, shops etc. highly recommended."
