"Anna was a superb host! It was my first time traveling internationally, and she made it a very welcoming stay with her warm demeanor. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and a guest mobility card is provided (different from summer card). I booked a double room which is small (I expected as such) but still very clean. Close to all the main transportation areas and walkable to downtown and Lake Zell. The view from my window was picturesque. Highly recommend!"

"Great place to stay, not a very walkable area though. Bus comes infrequently, and getting anywhere without a car is difficult. Staff was very helpful, overall it was a great experience."

"Entrance/office very unpreposessing No elevator - room was on 4th floor. Internet service did not work in room The room charges were very high compared to what was on offer."

"It was a beautiful little place ran by the family. The view from the balcony was absolutely breath taking. Breakfast nice. They even brought us freshly made coffee in our room upon request. Host explained and gave tips about traveling in the area. The places she suggested was spectacular. We were very happy as we didn't have big plans. I would like to come back 😁 Highly recommended."

"Ich muss sagen seit es neu übernommen wurde unter den gleichen Namen behalten wurde und darauf hin alte nicht sehr positive Bewertungen online sind, möchte ich definitiv sagen es ist ein absolut erfrischender toller und herrliche Aufenthalt gewesen. "We stayed 4 nights in July 2024. The apartment (217) was clean, hade everything we needed and had a beatuifum view of the mountains from the balcony. The common swimming pool area was also nice and clean with a play room and washing facilities. We experienced very easy and good communication with the reception desk and the personell there. We had a problem with a wasp nest and they took it very serious, managed to remove it and the management even gave us a compensation for the trouble we...

"The place was quite clean and nice, and they allowed us an early check in. Our lodge was nice and spacious, and comfortable to stay in. Sauna was pretty nice too, only really busy on one of the evenings we were there, but overall had the necessities. Close to the town centre, and there’s a free shuttle bus to take you to the ski area too. Only thing is they could improve the breakfast a bit - on one of the mornings the fruit we were given didn’t seem very fresh (the apples were very soft etc),...

Beautiful views over the lake

"Lovely stay. Friendly welcome, easy check-in. One of our party upgraded at check-in (not me, it's never me, lol). Beautiful rooms overlooking the gorgeous lake. The half-board option was very good value for money. Very short stroll to the bars (incl Crazy Daisy's which is literally a stones throw away) and Christmas market. I'll definitely stay there again when the opportunity arises."

"We arrived on Saturday afternoon, and we were greeted by a very nice and helpful receptionist (David), who was super friendly, and gave us advice on what to do. Additionally you get the summer ticket as part of the stay which provides loads of discounts and counts for Public transport as well. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. Balcony with a nice view, a heated swimming pool(albeit not so big) and well taken care of Sauna section. Breakfast was good, with multiple options, but as the place itself is not so big, neither are the eating options. Parking outside was good (did not see the garage), lots of supermarkets and restaurants in the area, well connected (as wellas a small touristy area can be) and worst case is a 45 minute walk to Zell am see center. We enjoyed out stay and would come back for another visit"

Good stay

"Great hotel for a stay in St Johann. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe, the staff were all very helpful. Good breakfast and dinner was varied. I particularly wanted a room with a balcony and there was nothing else in St Johann to compare price wise. Great e bike hire virtually next door & about a 10 minute walk into town. Raining when I left taxi to station was 10 euros. Would stay again"
