"This property was pretty good. Very relaxed. We stayed in a beach shack, it was pretty minimal for the price. The bathroom walls are not insulated making the bathroom a sauna during the day. On check out day, you are directed to empty the rubbish. This is annoying. I'm on holiday, I've paid for an over-priced room, yet I have to empty the bins before I go. Isn't this what the cleaning staff are paid for? Not the vibe for me. "

"We both enjoyed our stay. The host was very friendly and pleasant and sorted out a new tv immediately after the other stopped working. It has a well equipped kitchen and bathroom"

"This home exceeded our expectations. The location was so beautiful, rolling green lawns and that view in the morning was spectacular. Inside was spacious enough to host our large family Xmas and everyone enjoyed their time together. The pool area was amazing, the kitchen was dream to cook in. The lounge fit us all for movie nights and the games room was a hit with the kids and adults. We would definitely love to stay here again."

"I gave a four star rating out of five because I found the lounges to be too soft to sit on but other than that it was a great holiday home and was very thankful it had aircon. Midges and mosquitoes could not bring it down"

"The property was genuinely such a nice place to stay at. South Stradbroke Island provided a peaceful environment that you really appreciate at this property. All guests enjoyed themselves and we’ll definitely be back again."

"It was overall a good stay, with the exception of only having 1 chair to sit on was an inconvenience. A bit different to what we are used to, but found we didn't miss the tv. Booking in was a bit worrying for me, as I had not used anything like this bofore."

"We were really happy with this property. It was close to the airport but far enough away not to be impacted by noise or traffic. The Aether brewery at the end of the street was a major hit, as was Lilypad cafe near the train station. Andy was a great host and graciously gave us an extended check out due to sporting commitments on the last morning. We would come again if the opportunity arose."
